Penthouse (Yangon)

This penthouse project, located in North Dagon Township, is created with the aim of providing a 'safe space', an escape from the tediousness and stresses of conventional lifestyle. The design approach is to accomodate a compact, simple and minimalistic space within confined site with limitations.

နေ့စဉ်ပုံမှန်ဖြတ်သန်းနေရတဲ့ သမားရိုးကျ နေထိုင်မှု ပုံစံမျိုးကနေ စိတ်အေးလက်အေး အနားယူနေနိုင်မယ့် ထွက်ပေါက်နေရာတစ်ခုအနေနဲ့ ခံစားမိစေမယ့် ရည်ရွယ်ချက်မျိုးနဲ့ ဒီ penthouse ကို ဖန်တီးဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အကန့်အသက်ရှိနေတဲ့ နေရာမှာ ကျစ်ကျစ်လစ်လစ် ရိုးရိုးရှင်းရှင်းနဲ့ ဒီဇိုင်းကို ချဥ်းကပ်ထားပါတယ်။ ခု project က ရန်ကုန်မြို့ မြောက်ဒဂုံအတွင်းမှာ တည်ရှိမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

နှစ်သစ်ဆုတောင်း

ခုနှစ် ၁၃၈၂ မြန်မာ့နှစ်ဦးမှစ၍ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသူ၊ နိုင်ငံသား၊ ကမ္ဘာသူ ကမ္ဘာသား အားလုံး ကြုံတွေ့နေရတဲ့ ကပ်‌ဘေးရန်မှ အမြန်ဆုံးကျော်လွှားနိုင်ပြီး စိတ်ချမ်းသာ၊ ကိုယ်ကျန်းမာကာ မိသားစုနဲ့ အတူနေထိုင်ရင်း ဘေးကင်းကြပါစေလို့ ကျွန်တော်တို့ weer မှ ဆုမွန်ကောင်းတောင်းအပ်ပါတယ်။

ယခုအချိန်မှာ နောက်ထပ် ကျေးဇူးတင် ဆုတောင်းပေးချင်တာကတော့ ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ထမ်းများ၊ Volunteer လူငယ်များ၊ ပြည်သူ့လုံခြုံရေးအတွက် တာ၀န် ထမ်းဆောင်နေရသောသူများ၊ နိုင်ငံရဲ့ မရှိမဖြစ်ကဏ္ဍများမှာ တာ၀န်ထမ်းဆောင်နေရသောသူများ၊ နိုင်ငံနေရာအနှံမှာ ပြည်သူများရဲ့ လိုအပ်ချက်ကို လိုက်လံဖြည့်ဆည်းပေးနေကြတဲ့ ပရဟိတသမားများနဲ့ Delivery ၀န်ဆောင်မှုပေးနေကြသော သူများအားလုံးကိုလည်း ဘေးကင်းကျန်းမာပါစေလို ထပ်လောင်း ဆုမွန်ကောင်းတောင်းပေးအပ်ပါတယ်။

ဒီ ပရောဂျက်ကို မေလ ၂၀၁၉ ခုနှစ် မှာ စလုပ်ဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ပရောဂျက်က ပူတာအို ဇီဝမျိုးကွဲပြခန်းကို ပြန်လည်ပြုပြင်ဖို့ အတွက်ပါ။ အဲ့ဒီ မေလမှာပဲ ကျွန်တော်တို့တွေ ပြခန်းအနေအထားကို ကြည့်ဖို့အတွက် ပူတာအိုကို စရောက်ဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။

အရှေ့တောင်အာရှ နိုင်ငံများ အားလုံးထဲမှာမှ ကျွန်တော်တို့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၊ ကချင်ပြည်နယ်မှာပဲ ရေခဲတောင်တွေ ရှိတာပါ။ ဒီရေခဲတောင်များနဲ့ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကြောင့် ဆောင်းခိုငှက်တွေနဲ့ အခြားသော ရှားပါးမျိုးစိတ်များ၊ တောကောင်များ၊ ပန်းပင်များ၊ ဆေးဖက်ဝင်အပင်များကို ဒီဒေသမှာပဲ တွေ့ရပါတယ်။ ဒါတွေဟာ ကျွန်တော်တို့ ကချင်ပြည်အထက်ပိုင်းမှာပဲ ရှင်သန် နေထိုင်လျက် ရှိနေကြတာပါ။ အခြားသော ရေခဲတောင် ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ရှိတဲ့ နိုင်ငံများမှာ မတွေ့နိုင်ဘဲ ပူတာအို ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်မှာပဲ တွေ့နိုင်သော ဇီဝမျိုးကွဲများကိုသာ ပြခန်းအတွင်း ပြသမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

အရင်ကတည်းက ရှိနေပြီးသား education center တစ်ခုကို ဘယ်လိုပြန်ပြီး ဒီဇိုင်းလုပ်မလဲ။ ပထမဆုံး ပြဿနာက ဘတ်ဂျက်အကန့်အသက်ထဲမှာပဲ ဝင်အောင် လုပ်ဖို့ပါ။ နောက်တစ်ခုက ကျွန်တော်တို့ ပြုလုပ်တဲ့ ဒီဇိုင်းဟာ ဒေသပတ်ဝန်းကျင်မှ များစွာကွဲထွက်ပြီး တစ်မူထူးခြားနေတာမျိုး မဖြစ်အောင် သတိထားရပါတယ်။ ရှိရင်းစွဲ ဒေသအငွေ့အသက်များနှင့် ဒေသခံများကို တန်ဖိုးထားရမယ်လို့ ကျွန်တော်တို့ လက်ခံထားပါတယ်။ ဆောက်လုပ်ဆဲကာလ အတောအတွင်းမှာ ဒေသခံဆောက်လုပ်ရေးသမားများနှင့် လက်တွဲလုပ်ကိုင်စေပြီး ဆောက်လုပ်ရေးနည်းစနစ်များကို ဝေမျှပေးခဲ့ချင်ပါတယ်။ ဒါတွေက ကနဦး ရည်ရွယ်ချက်များပါ။

Space တစ်ခုက ပေးနိုင်တဲ့ ခံစားချက်များနဲ့ ပတ်သက်ပြီး ပြခန်းထဲရောက်တဲ့အခါ ပေါ့ပေါ့ပါးပါးနှင့် စိတ်ဝင်တစား လေ့လာချင်အောင် ဘယ်လိုဆွဲဆောင်မလဲ။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသားတစ်ယောက်အနေနဲ့ ကချင်ပြည်နယ်အထက်ပိုင်း ဒေသအတွက်ဂုဏ်ယူရတဲ့ စိတ်ခံစားချက်၊ ပျော်ရွင်တဲ့ စိတ်ခံစားချက်၊ ပေါ့ပါးတဲ့ စိတ်ခံစားချက်။ ပေးထားတဲ့ နေရာနဲ့ ပေးထားတဲ့ ဘတ်ဂျက်အတွင်းမှာပဲ ဒီခံစားချက်တွေကို ဗိသုကာ အယူအဆများမှ ဘယ်လို ရရှိအောင် ပြုလုပ်မလဲ။

မေးခွန်းများ၊ ရည်ရွယ်ချက်များနှင့် ကျွန်တော်တို့တွေ ခုတွေ့မြင်နေရတဲ့ ဒီဇိုင်းကို ပုံဖော်ဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ အခန်းတွင်း လှည့်ပတ်ကြည့်ရှုနိုင်ရန် လမ်းကြောင်းတစ်ခုကို ပေးပြီး ပူတာအိုမှ ဇီဝမျိုးကွဲများအကြောင်းကို စတင်မိတ်ဆက်ထားပါတယ်။ ကြည့်ရှုရန် လမ်းကြောင်းကို ‘U’ ပုံစံ အခန်းပတ်လည် ပေးထားပြီး လမ်းကြောင်းအလယ်မှာ သစ်သားအတုံးကလေးတစ်ခုကို နေရာချထားပါတယ်။ ပူတာအိုရဲ့ အသည်းနှလုံးကဲ့သို့ အဖိုးတန်ပြီး မျိုးတုန်းပျောက်ကွက်လု ဖြစ်နေတဲ့ မျိုးစိတ်များကို ထိုသစ်သားတုံးကလေးထဲတွင် ပြသထားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါဟာ ပူတာအိုဒေသရဲ့ အဖိုးတန်ဆုံး သစ်သားတုံးကလေးအဖြစ် ရည်းညွှန်းဖော်ဆောင်ချင်တာဖြစ်ပြီး ဝင်ဝင်ချင်းမှာပဲ တန်ဖိုးထား ဂုဏ်ယူရင်း လေ့လာ ခံစားစေချင်တာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ပရာဂျက်မှာ ဒေသထွက် သစ်မာများကို အဓိကထား အသုံးပြုထားပါတယ်။ အခန်းအလယ် သစ်သားတုံးကလေးကို ပြုလုပ်ရာမှာ ဒေသခံ သစ်သားအဆောက်အဦများမှ သစ်သားနံရံပြုလုပ်ပုံကို ပြန်လည်လေ့လာပြီး ကျွန်တော့်တို့ စိတ်ကူးများ ထည့်သွင်းပေါင်းစပ်ကာ ဒီဇိုင်းကို အသစ်ပုံစံပေးနိုင်အောင် ပြန်လည်ဖော်ဆောင်ထားပါတယ်။

၇လလောက် အချိန်ယူ ပြင်ဆင်ခဲ့ရတဲ့ ဒီပြခန်းဟာ ပူတာအို ရောက်ရင် ဝင်ကြည့်ရမယ့် နေရာတစ်ခုအဖြစ် သတ်မှတ်ထားကြပြီလို့ ကြားသိရပါတယ်။ အခုဆိုရင် ကျွန်တော်တို့ ပြင်ဆင်ထားခဲ့တဲ့ ဒီ ဇီဝမျိုးကွဲပြခန်းလေးကို ဝင်ရောက်လေ့လာကြည့်လို့ ရပါပြီ။

Biodiversity Education Center - Putao

Located in northern Myanmar, the small town of Putao is surrounded by ice-capped mountains and presents a unique vegetation, including rare orchids, as well as endemic birds and animals. This diverse ecosystem is celebrated in the new Biodiversity Education Center Putao, which opened its doors to the public in December 2019.

The centerpiece of the renovated space is a wooden box, which houses the ‘valueables’ of the museum, much like a jewelry box. The box is referencing a local construction technique, made by stacking wood planks in an angle, while its inside displays rare animals from the area. The elevated timber floor raises the eye of the observer to the box and the information boards that are framing the space. The circulation in the room follows a U-shape, along which visitors can learn about the natural resources of the area, its biodiversity and cultural heritage, as well as ongoing activities and initiatives related to the natural environment. A small sitting area in front of the box can offer the visitor a moment of rest and contemplation before they exit the museum.
By merging local materials and techniques with new ideas and contemporary visions, this center becomes a new landmark in the heart of Putao, and offers a space of learning and awareness for locals and visitors, who can appreciate the natural beauty of their environments.

The design of the ‘New Biodiversity Education Center’ derives from our knowledge and research about Puta-O and its surroundings. The main concept is to showcase and celebrate the precious life and diversity that are unique to this area.
