Yoke Thรฉ - The Art of Myanmar Marionette๐ŸŽญ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฒ

Did you know?๐Ÿค”
Myanmarโ€™s traditional marionette puppet theatre (Yoke Thรฉ) is one of the oldest performing arts in the country, dating back to the royal courts of the Konbaung Dynasty.
With beautifully hand-carved wooden puppets, vibrant costumes, and music from the traditional Saing Waing orchestra, Yoke Thรฉ brings to like stories from Buddhist Jataka tales, the Ramayana (Yama Zatdaw), and Myanmar folklore.
Once a Royal entertainment, it has now become a treasured cultural heritage, continuing to fascinate audiences in Mandalay, Bagan, and beyond.
