Knowledge Equals Power

Today (1 May 2026), I went to Sink Oo Dan port to take a boat from Yangon to Maw Kyaun.

Unfortunately, there was a checkpoint along the journey. Sometimes the checks are very strict, and sometimes they are not. Personally, I didn’t feel comfortable facing the checkpoint, so I decided to cancel my trip and return home.

Zoo (Yangon)

I visited Yangon Zoo in Mingalar Taung Nyunt Township for the first time, even though I live nearby. It was quite interesting, and I was surprised to see that there are still many wild animals there.

YANGON`s THINGYAN.....

Today (15 April 2026), I went downtown and explored Yangon’s Thingyan Festival for the first time. It was a really fun and interesting experience!

ဒီနေ့ (၁၁ ရက်နေ ဧပြီလ ၂၀၂၆) ၊ အားနေတာနဲ့ မုန့်လုံးရေပေါ်လုပ်စားဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ မလုပ်ဖူးတာနဲ့ မလုပ်တတ်တာနဲ့ပေါင်းပြီး မုန့်လုံးရေပေါ်က မလှမပ ထွက်လာပါတယ်။ စားလို့တော့ရပါတယ် ၊ အရမ်းကောင်းတာတော့ မဟုတ်ဘူး။ အတွေ့အကြုံလေးပေါ့။

English စာလေ့လာရတာ တကယ့်ကို မလွယ်တဲ့ခရီးစဉ်တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ စိတ်ဓာတ်ကျလိုက် ၊ ပြန်လုပ်လိုက်နဲ့ အားတင်းပြီး သွားခဲ့ရတယ်။ အစပိုင်းတော့ Online ကနေသင်ပါတယ်။ အတော်အသင့် လေ့လာသင်ယူပြီးတဲ့အခါ အပေါင်းအသင်းတွေနဲ့ စကားပြောလေ့ကျင့်တယ်။ တစ်ဖက်မှာလည်း English Podcast ကိုနားထောင်တယ်။ လေ့လာရင်းသွားရင်း တစ်ခါတလေ တိုးတက်တယ်လို့ ခံစားရလိုက် ၊ တခါတလေ မတိုးတက်ဘူးခံစားရလိုက်နဲ့ လုံးချာလည်နေခဲ့တယ်။

၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်ကပြီး ရန်ကုန်မှာရှိတဲ့ In-Person English Conversation Classes တွေကို စတင် Join နိုင်ခဲ့တယ်။ ကျနော်သိသလောက်ဆိုရင် ရန်ကုန်မှာ အဲ့လို In-Person English Conversation Class (၂)ခုရှိပါတယ်။ အဲ့ဒီအတန်းတွေမှာပါဝင်ပြီးတဲ့နောက်မှာ ကိုယ့်ကိုယ်ကို အရင်ကထက် ပိုတိုးတက်လာတယ် ၊ ယုံကြည်မှုရှိလာတယ် ၊ စကားပြောပိုသွက်လာတယ်လို့ ခံစားလာရတယ်။

Sunday တိုင်း ကျနော်ကတော့ မပျက်မကွက် ဒီအတန်းတွေကို Join ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဖြစ်နိုင်ရင် (၂) တန်းလုံး Join ပါတယ်။ အချိန်တိုက်တာတို့ ၊ သွားရေးလာရေးခက်ခဲတာတို့ဖြစ်လာရင် (၁)တန်းကို မဖြစ်မနေ Join နိုင်အောင် ကြိုးစားပါတယ်။

ဒါကတော့ In-Person English Conversation ကို အပတ်စဉ် လုပ်ဆောင်ပေးနေတဲ့ အဖွဲ့အစည်း (၂)ခုဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

သခင်ခရစ်တော် အသေခံသော သောကြာနေ့ကြီး

ဒီနေ့ဟာ ကက်သလစ်ဘာသာဝင်တွေအတွက် နေ့ထူးနေ့မြတ်တစ်ရက်ဖြစ်တဲ့ သောကြာနေ့ကြီး (Good Friday) ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ကက်သလစ်ဘာသာဝင်တွေအတွက် တစ်နှစ်တာမှာ အလေးမြတ်ဆုံးနဲ့ အပူဆွေးဆုံးနေ့လို့ ဆိုနိုင်ပါ တယ်။ ဒီနေ့ဟာ သခင်ယေဇူး ခရစ်တော်က လူသားတွေရဲ့ အပြစ်အတွက် လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင်မှာ အသေခံတော်မူခဲ့ တဲ့နေ့ကို အောက်မေ့သတိရတဲ့နေ့ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒီနေ့ရဲ့ ထူးခြားတဲ့ လုပ်ဆောင်ချက်တွေနဲ့ အဓိပ္ပာယ်တွေကတော့ အောက်ပါအတိုင်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

၁။ ဝမ်းနည်းခြင်းနဲ့ အစာရှောင်ခြင်း
ဒီနေ့မှာ ကက်သလစ်ဘာသာဝင်တွေဟာ သခင်ယေဇူး ခံစားခဲ့ရတဲ့ ဒုက္ခဝေဒနာတွေကို ကိုယ်ချင်းစာတဲ့အနေနဲ့ အသားရှောင်ခြင်းနဲ့ အစာခြွေတာစားခြင်း (သို့မဟုတ်) အစာရှောင်ခြင်းတွေကို ပြုလုပ်ကြပါတယ်။ ဘုရားကျောင်းတွေမှာလည်း ပျော်ရွှင်စရာ တေးဂီတတွေ မတီးခတ်ဘဲ ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်းနဲ့ ဝတ်ပြုကြပါတယ်။

၂။ လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင် လမ်းစဉ် (Stations of the Cross)
သခင်ခရစ်တော် ကာလ်ဝါရီတောင်ပေါ်ကို လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင်ထမ်းပြီးတက်သွားတဲ့ လမ်းတစ်လျှောက်မှာ ဖြစ်ပျက်ခဲ့တဲ့ အဖြစ်အပျက် ၁၄ ချက်ကို တစ်ခုချင်းစီ ဆင်ခြင်ဆုတောင်းကြပါတယ်။ အချို့ဒေသတွေမှာတော့ ဒီလမ်းစဉ်ကို လမ်းမပေါ်မှာ သရုပ်ဖော်ပြီး လှည့်လည်ဆုတောင်းတာမျိုးတွေလည်းရှိပါတယ်။

၃။ ဝတ်ပြုကိုးကွယ်မှု အစီအစဉ်
သောကြာနေ့ကြီးမှာ ထူးခြားတာက မစ္ဆားတရားတော် (Mass) မရှိတာပါပဲ။ အဲဒီအစား - နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်ကို နားထောင်ခြင်း၊ လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင်ကို အလေးအမြတ်ပြု ဂါရဝပြုခြင်း (Veneration of the Cross)၊ ကြာသပတေးနေ့ညက သိမ်းဆည်းထားတဲ့ ကိုယ်တော်မြတ်ကို ပင့်ယူခြင်း စတာတွေကိုပဲ ပြုလုပ်ကြပါတယ်။

၄။ ဘုရားကျောင်းရဲ့ အပြင်အဆင်
ဒီနေ့မှာ ဘုရားကျောင်းအတွင်းက ယဇ်ပလ္လင်ပေါ်မှာ ဘာအလှဆင်ပစ္စည်းမှမရှိဘဲ ဗလာဖြစ်နေရပါတယ်။ ဘုရားဆင်းတုတော်တွေကိုလည်း ခရမ်းရောင်အဝတ်တွေနဲ့ ဖုံးအုပ်ထားလေ့ရှိပြီး ဒါဟာ သေခြင်းတရားနဲ့ ဝမ်းနည်းခြင်းကို ဖော်ဆောင်ပါတယ်။

"Good Friday" လို့ ခေါ်ရခြင်းအကြောင်းကတော့ သခင်ယေဇူးရဲ့ အသေခံခြင်းဟာ လူသားအားလုံးအတွက် ကယ်တင်ခြင်းနဲ့ ကောင်းမြတ်တဲ့ အကျိုးကျေးဇူးတွေကို ယူဆောင်လာပေးတဲ့နေ့ (Holy Day) ဖြစ်လို့ "Good" လို့ သုံးနှုန်းတာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
