At Centaurs Rangoon, we are passionate about spreading the great sport of rugby in Myanmar from the ground up. Our club's grassroots development program has made significant strides, and we are delighted to share a remarkable achievement.

We now have four local Myanmar coaches, some working full-time to grow rugby at schools in Yangon. Two of these coaches are products of our grassroots initiatives, while the previous rugby club, Yangon Dragons, trained the other two. These dedicated individuals inspire the next generation of rugby players and instill the values of discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship in young minds.

It is a wrap. Our first game day of 2024 last Saturday was a blast with a big thank you to both the kids from Japan Heart - Myanmar , from SONNE Social Organization , and our own kids who gave everything on the pitch. In total, we had eight kids teams who tested their rugby skills and experienced the thrill of a match. The day was made possible with the help of Crossing the Gain Line and Pepsi Cola Myanmar as well as all the volunteers who helped make the day a great start for the rugby season in Myanmar.
