Einyakyaungngamyethna Temple
Bagan, Myanmar @ ပုဂံ ၿမိဳ႔သစ္

Needless to say that Shwezigon Pagoda is the most sacred Buddhist stupa in Myanmar and one of the most important religious reliquary monuments in the world, it was built in mid 11 century AD by the first king of Bagan Anawrahta and it’s said it’s covered in real gold. It encased Buddha's Tooth relic inside there.

The legend behind it and the significant Buddhist relics make this place of great significance to the local folklore and to the Theravada tradition of Buddhism, one of the schools of this religion. This monument also serves as a spiritual focal point for the whole country.
