🇲🇪🎉 Statehood Day (Dan državnosti) is celebrated every year on 13 July as one of the most important dates in Montenegrin history.

🏛️ The date commemorates 13 July 1878, when the Berlin Congress officially recognized the Principality of Montenegro as an independent state. With this decision, Montenegro became the 27th internationally recognized independent state in the world.

🪖 The same date is also connected with 13 July 1941, when an uprising against the Italian occupation began in Montenegro during World War II, becoming one of the first major uprisings against Axis forces in occupied Europe.

✨ Today, 13 July represents a symbol of Montenegro’s long history of statehood, independence, and resilience.
