Tanja Book & Print Fair #2 opens this weekend at Tanger Print Club.

Over two days, the fair brings together independent publishers, self-published artists, photographers and cultural organisations from Morocco and beyond, alongside a curated selection of books, zines, prints and publications.

On Saturday, discover publications by Waraq WARAQ ورق , Isdar Mustaqel Isdar Mustaqel , Salaheddine Mouslim Salah-Eddine Mouslim , Sens Magazine sens. , Tanger Print Club Tanger Print Club and Think Tanger, together with a selection of independent publications.

On Sunday, we’re joined by The Mothership The Mothership and Cinema Rif Cinémathèque de Tanger , alongside all previously announced participants. The weekend closes with a DJ set by 66K and a public screen printing booth (bring a t-shirt, a tote bag or anything to print on) from 6:30–8pm.

The Tanja Book & Print Fair returns for its second edition on 2–3 August 2026 at Tanger Print Club, as part of Book & Print Summer.

We're inviting self-publishing artists, photographers, illustrators, designers, print practitioners, and independent publishers to take part in a weekend dedicated to printed matter.

If you create zines, artist books, photo books, posters, prints, or other self-published editions, we'd love to hear from you. The fair is an opportunity to showcase your work, meet fellow practitioners, and connect with audiences interested in independent publishing and print culture.

يسرّنا أن ندعو الفنانين والناشرين المستقلين، وصنّاع الزينات (Zines)، والمصورين، والمصممين، وممارسي فنون الطباعة للمشاركة في الدورة الثانية من سوق طنجة للكتب والمطبوعات، الذي سيقام يومي 2 و3 أغسطس 2026 ضمن برنامج صيف الكتاب والطباعة في نادي طنجة للطباعة.

A look back at the Open Studio of Eszter Nagy and Esther Hovers, who opened their shared workspace after several weeks of research and experimentation at Think Tanger.

Bringing together photography, drawing, mapping, and printmaking, the evening offered a glimpse into their ongoing explorations of Tangier, inviting visitors into their creative process.

Open Studio — July 2 · From 7PM
Join resident artists Eszter Nagy and Esther Hovers at Tanger Print Club for an evening open studio. Discover the work they've been developing during their residency, meet the artists, and get a glimpse into their process.

One Sheet — July 11 · 11AM–6PM
A workshop exploring editorial publishing through folding, cutting, and sequencing. Starting from a single printed poster, participants transform one sheet into a complete publication while discovering how format and material shape the reading experience.

Abstract Building — July 25 · 11AM–6PM
A screen-printing workshop exploring composition through simple shapes, colour, and layered printing. Working collectively, participants create abstract images that come together through the process of serigraphy.

10 years of Think Tanger, 9 of the Tanger Print Club, 5 Years of MAKAN journal, 3 years of KIOSK but mostly.. 10 years of creative talks, workshops, urban experiments, and many prints produced with artists from different generations, always with the idea of creating an alternative market where you can collect your favourite artists — established or upcoming.

This fundraiser exhibition is an open call to all curious young collectors — and not-so-young collectors too — as well as art and print lovers, to come see and purchase affordable prints while supporting the artists and the creative scene of Tangier.

EACH PRINT YOU GET IS DIRECT SUPPORT FOR THE ARTISTS AND FOR TANGIER’S CREATIVE COMMUNITY — SO COME GET YOUR PRINT!

This summer, Tanger Print Club celebrates 10 years of Think Tanger with a programme dedicated to independent printing and publishing practices. Over the course of three months, our space will host an exhibition of prints, editions, and printed matter produced through the studio over the years, alongside a series of workshops, open studios, and the second edition of the Tanja Book & Print Fair.

The programme brings together artists, printers, publishers, readers, and makers to explore the many possibilities of print: from screen printing and bookbinding to folding, composition, and collaborative publishing. Whether you are discovering these practices for the first time or have long been part of the community, Book & Print Summer is an invitation to learn, exchange, create, and celebrate the vibrant ecosystem of independent print culture in Tangier.
