From classroom discussions to one of Morocco’s greatest landmarks 🇲🇦✨
Today we explored the beauty, history, and craftsmanship of Hassan II Mosque while learning more about Moroccan culture and architecture!

Our students had a half-day trip to the beautiful city of Salé! From the stunning Marinid-era school built in the 14th century, known for its intricate zellige and beautiful Islamic architecture (Madrassa Marinide), to the grand historic gates of Salé, once connecting the city to its old port and serving as a symbol of trade and movement (Bab Lamrissa), to the historic fortress overlooking the Bouregreg River, built to protect the city and offering breathtaking views over Rabat and Salé (Borj Adoumoue). A day filled with culture, stories, architecture, and memories that brought history to life 🤍✨.

Two of our groups went to Marrakech this weekend and had such a full experience😍. Camel rides, wandering through the Souks, visiting a village, and just taking in the city in all its chaos and beauty✨
It was one of those trips where you don’t just “visit” places, you actually feel them. The markets, the people, the calm of the village, the energy of Marrakech… Al hamdulillaahh everything blended into one weekend we won’t forget!!

Our students had the chance to explore Amazigh culture during a visit to the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture. We discussed the challenges and ongoing efforts to revitalize the language and culture, and their thoughtful questions sparked a great discussion. More to come soon!!! ❤️❤️

Watching the group take on the Atlantic waves, laugh through every wipeout, and fully enjoy the beach atmosphere made this such a fun day to be part of 🇲🇦

From the timeless beauty of the Hassan Tower and Mausoleum, to the streets of the Oudaias and a fluka ride across the river 🌊✨
Our tour was all about discovering Rabat through stories and history, and little moments together. A huge thank you to our amazing tour guide (and our peers for the fluka adventure 🫶) for making the city come alive for us✨✨
