We are extremely excited to share a very special new project we worked on in Georgia 💕🩰✨
Between Swans and Soldiers is centered around Nina Ananiashvili, one of the greatest ballerinas of all time and the dancers she is leading as the artistic director of the Georgia State Ballet. It follows the success of the company post Soviet Union and celebrates the rich culture, history and tradition of Georgian ballet.

Pella
We love a distinctive location and Pella is one of those unique places to film + photograph. The surrounding desolate desert areas and date-palm plantations provide more interesting shoot locations and if you’re lucky the resident nuns will show you around the striking cathedral.

The Old Pomene Hotel was built in 1964 in Mozambique after the shipwreck of the Portuguese ship Berea, a cargo ship carrying sugar. Recovery efforts led to the construction of a road to recover the cargo, which opened up the area to development.
The hotel was a popular holiday spot, especially with Samora Machel, who would become the nation’s first President after independence. Operating for only six years before being forcibly abandoned in 1974 during Mozambique’s War of Independence, a period that also saw it occupied by liberation troops. Today, the hotel is a ruin, with nature slowly reclaiming the land, though its former grandeur is still visible in the remains.

We love this beautiful feature in
Girls Girls Girls proposes a carefree portrait of female students at a South African school, to affirm the importance of play and joy even in the most difficult situations. The project was created with a group of high school friends as they enter their final year of high school at Athlone High in Cape Town, South Africa.
Girls Girls Girls merges storytelling with imagination to show a world where girls are empowered as they bloom as the heroines of their own stories ✨

Dogon masqued dance ✨
Dogon culture is closely connected to the cosmos. The most iconic tradition is the famous stilt and mask dances, called Sigui. The Sigui symbolizes respect for cycles: the passing of culture, language and traditions from generation to generation. It is celebrated in honor and harmony with Sirius.

Chief Kapika is the absolute head of the Himba people, a nomadic tribe in Namibia and is the chief of the Epupa constituency, which is home to three Himba chiefs.
He is recognized by most other chiefs, but not all.
Chief Kapika has been the traditional leader of his community since his father and half-brother died in 1982 but was not officially recognized until 2016. In 2013 he successfully led a protest in 2013 against the treatment of Himba people by Wild Things, a German TV series that mocked the local people.
He also kept his sister chained to a bed for over 20 years to stop her wandering off due to her dementia after a witchdoctor informed him that he would follow within 3 days of her death. Rescued from her torment a few years ago by a nearby lodge owner and the head of Alzheimer’s Dementia Namibia, Ndjinna now lives in a care home outside Swakopmund.
