«Борьба» — первый полнометражный док армянской режиссерки Лилит Мовсисян, фильм феминистский, но далекий от манифестов, лозунгов и активизма. Камерная история юной Каринэ, ведущей свою собственную, личную борьбу за право на свободу, выбор и открытость.

Девушке 16, и она живет в традиционной армянской семье, где основной источник дохода — собаки, кавказские овчарки, которых отец семейства выращивает специально для собачьих боев. Девушка помогает ухаживать за животными и мечтает стать ветеринаром, но семья считает подобную карьеру неподходящей для женщины.

Фильм балансирует между брутальными сценами звериных баталий и нежными дневниковыми записями героини, утопает в парадоксальной, неразрешимой амбивалентности между любовью и жестокостью по отношению к животным, рисует пронзительный портрет поколения, куда более хрупкого, нежного, но и решительного в своей тихой борьбе за себя и окружающий мир.

Картина была показана на Артдокфесте, «Золотом абрикосе» и престижном фестивале документального кино в Котбусе.

Фильм будет демонстрироваться на языке оригинала (армянский) с русскими субтитрами. После показа — обсуждение с режиссеркой Лилит Мовсисян.

Հուլիսի 17-ին՝ ժամը 19։30-ին, «Ոսկե Ծիրան» միջազգային կինոփառատոնի շրջանակում տեղի կունենա ռեժիսոր Լիլիթ Մովսիսյանի «Պայքար» ֆիլմի երևանյան պրեմիերան։ Հիշեցնենք, որ ֆիլմի միջազգային պրեմիերան տեղի է ունեցել 2024 թվականին՝ Կոթբուսի միջազգային կինոփառատոնում, և ներառվել է նաև Artdocfest Riga միջազգային կինոփառատոնի ծրագրում։

«Պայքար»-ը պատմում է 16-ամյա Կարինեի մասին, ով ավանդական հայկական ընտանիքում փորձում է պայքարել իր երազանքի՝ անասնաբույժ դառնալու համար։ Սակայն ընտանիքը, մասնավորապես հայրը, որը զբաղվում է շնամարտերով, այդ մասնագիտությունը չի համարում «համապատասխան» կնոջ համար։ Կարինեն կանգնած է կյանքի վճռորոշ ընտրության առաջ՝ գնալ իր երազանքի հետևից, թե՞ մնալ ընտանիքի սահմանած պատկերացումների շրջանակում։

🎬 Yerevan Premiere of "Fight" as part of the Golden Apricot International Film Festival

On July 17 at 19:30, the Yerevan premiere of director Lilith Movsisyan’s Fight will take place within the framework of the Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival.
The film had its international premiere in 2024 at the Cottbus International Film Festival and was also selected at the Artdocfest Riga International Film Festival.

Fight tells the story of 16-year-old Karine, who struggles to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian while living in a traditional Armenian family. Her father, a dogfighting trainer, considers the profession inappropriate for a woman. Karine stands at a crossroads: to follow her passion or conform to the expectations set by her family.

📽️ The film was produced with state financial support from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and the Cinema Foundation of Armenia.

However, her aspirations clash with her father's disapproval, who is also involved in dog-fights. He believes it's not a suitable career for women. Karine must decide whether to conform to her family's expectations or decide to follow her dreams, challenging the boundaries of tradition and gender roles.
