Architecture that feels natural to live in.
This residential project was designed around daily life—quiet moments, shared spaces, and a close connection to nature. Living rooms are positioned at the corners of the building to capture light and views, becoming the heart of each home.
On the upper floors, these spaces extend into transformable glass loggias, creating sheltered outdoor rooms that can be enjoyed throughout the year. On the lower floors, living areas open onto balconies and terraces that gently connect to the communal park.
The architecture does not dominate the landscape—it becomes part of it, supporting a calm, comfortable, and human-scaled living environment.

Vasaras Rezidence Liepājā. 🌊🪴

A touch of nature enters into the workspace 🌿 Imagine office that breathes like a living temple. Sunlight spills through leaves, shadows trace the walls—designed to feel less like a workplace and more like a quiet revelation.

Neliels apskats par 3 mūsu zaļākajiem projektiem 🪴✨🏔️
LA 178. HAGBERG https://www.facebook.com/hagberg.lv ēku komplekss atrodas Mārupes novadā, Ozolkalnu ielā, kura iezīmē Mārupes pilsētas robežu. Projekts attīstījies pakāpen*ski un atbilstoši zemes vienību dalījumam, saskaņojoties ar esošo industriālu apbūvi un plānojot ēku lietotājiem labākos dabasskatus pa lielajiem logiem. Kompleksu telpiski strukturēja GoodPattern https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=Good%20Pattern biroja vadošais arhitekts Guntis Ziņģis. Projektā būtisku nozīmi spēlē arī pasūtītājs – viņa vajadzības un biznesa procesa redzējums deva pamatu ēku programmai un nepieciešamo zonu dalījumam, ļaujot arhitektam piedāvāt atbilstošu ēkas telpisko ideju. The HAGBERG building complex was developed for a Latvian company that has provided full-service real estate development, construction, and management since 2009. The project evolved gradually, with careful attention given to providing building users with optimal views of nature through large windows. The company is not merely a business environment, but a genuine homestead—an oikos, as it would have been called in Ancient Greece. This spatial potential was structured by lead architect Guntis Ziņģis from the “Good Pattern” office. The client also played a crucial role—his needs and vision of business processes shaped the building program and zoning layout.

Blending Heritage with Modern Living: Restoring a 19th-Century Landmark on the Zunda Canal
Some buildings tell stories—this one, built in 1889 as a boat repair workshop, speaks of craftsmanship, adaptation, and resilience.
🔍 The Backstory:
Originally designed with a vaulted brick ground floor, the structure evolved pragmatically: two masonry floors topped by a wooden attic, where ship beams were repurposed as joists—a testament to resourcefulness. Later, Soviet-era conversions turned it into communal housing. Now, we’re reimagining it as six compact apartments while preserving its soul.
⚒️ Key Challenges & Solutions:
✅ Structural Integrity: Balancing modern comfort with 135-year-old bones required meticulous planning—like retaining original staircases and three entrances.
✅ Space Efficiency: Thin steel-framed partitions replaced bulky walls, maximizing square footage without compromising character.
✅ Material Dialogue: Exposed brick, lime plaster, and reclaimed wood create warmth while honoring the building’s industrial past.
💡 Why This Matters:
Restoration isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about respecting a community’s layered history while creating functional spaces for future generations.

How do you design a building that feels timeless yet quietly innovative?
The "Dzilnupes" project was our answer: seven residential buildings where every detail serves both poetry and purpose.
▫️ Steep roofs reimagined for modern proportions.
▫️ Solar panels + heat pumps seamlessly integrated—no visual clutter.
▫️ A mirror-clad entrance that pulls sunlight into the stairwell.
▫️ Terraces designed for rhythm—2m on top floors, 4m with private greenery below.
For us, architecture isn’t just about spaces. It’s about crafting moments: when light hits a wall just right, when a terrace feels both open and intimate, when sustainability doesn’t shout but seduces.
What’s your favorite design detail that blends beauty + function? 👇
