To learn French,
I am the resource you need. It's a long journey that brought me here and to what I am currently doing.
I was always attracted to foreign languages, as far as I can remember. I always found some magic in the way people can communicate using words. Through my life I learned different languages, different ways. From classical school way to self teaching, as a teenager, through my pregnancies, or as a single mother, I used tricks to practice, memorize, sometimes successfully and sometimes not. And I am
not finished learning :)
I started to teach almost randomly, par hasard as we say in French: some young mothers on a Facebook group where having difficulties to find a French course because of their baby, meanwhile I was myself a young mother of my third child, having difficulties to find a creche for my baby and therefore find a job. So that's how I created my first learning group, where me as a teacher and my students all had our babies on our laps. My baby grew and eventually went to daycare and then school, my student groups shifted, and my courses evolved and improved. I was constantly trying to improve my teaching method, applying all the concepts of NVC, keeping in mind that the student must feel comfortable to learn, whatever his age, whatever his motivation level. Until last year during the first COVID lockdown, when I heard about the Neurolanguage method from Rachel Palling and followed the course given by Clare Crawford. I discovered all the ways to truly help somebody who wants to learn a language, keep them motivated, and really help them remember what they are learning. I am now a qualified and certified coach, accredited by ICL. What makes me happy : witness the small and big progress of my students, witness everyday the magic of communication, and be part of it. So it's been a long journey, and it is not yet finished.
