ReDIRNET - Emergency Responder Data Interoperability Network activities.
ReDIRNET will provide a decentralized framework for interoperability for first responders’ systems based on a public meta-data gateway controlled by the agencies themselves via a REDIRNET socio-professional web. A guest lecture was done by Blaž Ivanc from IJS for international class of postgraduate students at the Defence studies (Course: Information Technology and National Security). REDIRNET idea and capabilities was presented. The students received an article from BAPCO journal (»creating an incident hub«). REDIRNET Data Interoperability question will be included for the final exam.

November 19th: REDIRNET researchers visit the Integrated Safety Center (ISF) in Ostrava (Czech Republic). The discussion was about the ICT used in the center as well as interoperability issues they are facing and possibility of REDIRNET integration.
