The Novian IT group has announced its results for 2024.

The group‘s consolidated revenue in 2024 amounted to EUR 38.9 million and grew 2.4% compared to 2023. The group’s EBITDA for the 12-month period was EUR 2.57 million and was 2.1 times the previous year’s figure. The operating profit for last year was EUR 1.5 million, or 14.3 times the amount in 2023.

“We are pleased with last year’s results, which again show that the success of an IT business depends not just on experience and the application of relevant innovations but also work together with clients to create innovations. I am grateful to the team, which has contributed to this,” says Tomas Vitkus, the CEO of the Novian group.

He says that, looking forward, the priority areas for Novian’s work include not only projects for national institutions and businesses, but also defence projects, artificial intelligence and high-performance computing solutions to address the challenges of climate change, and potential applications of quantum technologies.

“In the context of the digital era, with Lithuania and Europe actively considering ways to strengthen their defences, advanced technological and programming solutions that leverage artificial intelligence and other innovations should be among the top priorities for the country and the region. We are confident that Novian’s experience and know-how can be useful, and we are ready to contribute to projects in this area,” Vitkus says.

Novian last year earned most of its revenue – 59% – from activities related to IT solutions, with another 24% coming from software development and 17% from IT services. Its companies conducted operations in 37 countries, earning 77% of their revenue in Lithuania, 12% elsewhere in Europe, and 11% in other countries of the world.

This year's finalists of the Lithuanian national digital innovation competition Skaitmeninis Knygnešys (Digital Book Carrier) include SABIS, the Invoice Administration General Information System!

The SABIS system for managing the invoices of Lithuanian contracting authorities and their suppliers is one of the projects developed in Lithuania to promote joint digitisation in the public and the private sector by implementing the digitisation of invoices.

The modern system enhances the efficiency of daily operations, supports improved collaboration between public institutions and private sector suppliers, and implementation of public procurement, and facilitates the organizations’ international engagement.

The system for the Lithuanian National Shared Functions Centre (Nacionalinis bendrųjų funkcijų centras) was developed by the IT services group Novian.

We’re thrilled to have played a role in bringing SABIS to life — and we wish the team great success in the final round!

🚀 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫? 𝐘𝐞𝐬, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞!

Today, when speed is increasingly important, and organisations seek ways to optimise their processes, we believe Microsoft Power Platform has flexible solutions to meet evolving needs.

💡 Power Platform is a modern low-code platform that enables building IT solutions quickly and adaptably – 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬. It can be used to:

• create internal process management applications (𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐬),
• automate repetitive tasks and connect different systems (𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞),
• generate personalised data analyses and reports (𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐈),
• provide secure access for external users via portals (𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬),
• integrate and manage data in one structured environment (𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞).

The platform also makes it easier 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 during solution development.

🗣️ Insights into how these tools are used in practice were recently shared by Ieva Pavilionė, Head of Power Platform at Novian, at the 𝑇𝑒𝑐ℎ𝑛𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑦 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑅𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 2025 conference.

We are pleased to have contributed to developing the Lithuanian national information system SABIS. This public sector invoice information system replaced the “E. Invoice” system, which has been in operation since 2015.

The new system was developed by the Novian programming companies at the request of the Lithuanian Nacionalinis bendrųjų funkcijų centras (National Shared Functions Centre), and advanced technological solutions were used during the project.

Integrations with other relevant systems of the country have been created for more convenient work, and cooperation of Lithuanian organizations with foreign countries is facilitated by the system’s compatibility with the unified e-invoice standard approved by the European Commission (eInvoicing).

The system was launched last year and at the beginning of 2025, new functionalities were added, including additional interfaces, system features, and bulk invoice actions.

“We are pleased to have successfully completed this nationwide project, which we believe will contribute to the country's digitalization and enhance the efficiency of public sector organizations.

During the project, we implemented several advanced technological solutions ranging from the development of a system based on modern microservices architecture and various integrations, to preparing the system to handle current loads and transferring historical data, a crucial stage in any digitalization process,” said Tadas Jonušas, CEO of Novian Pro.
