Greetings from Festival de Cannes and Cinรฉma de Demain! ๐
The past few days in Cannes have been filled with inspiring conversations, new connections, and exciting moments for the Baltic short film community.
๐ฒ Our Baltic Shorts panel discussion ๐๐ก๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ? ๐๐จ-๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ง๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ญ brought together industry professionals and Baltic Pitching Forum alumni to discuss opportunities for short film projects in the Baltic region. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
There were also exciting moments for other BPF alumni across the festival. Stavros Markoulakis presented his project ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ข๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐จ, previously showcased at Baltic Pitching Forum in 2023, during a pitching session in Cannes๐ฆ

๐ข Over the past days, participants explored the history of Trakลณ Vokฤ Manor, met with the Vilnius City Municipality team, visited the new exhibition at ล iuolaikinio meno centras /\ Contemporary Art Centre and most importantly began both group and individual screenwriting consultations with Anna Ciennik.
Starting today, the residency enters its next phase: individual creative work with online consultations ๐
Wishing all participants a clear mind, inspiring conversations, and bold new ideas as they continue developing their scripts ๐ก
