18 days. Thousands of dots. And the face is finally looking back.
02/06/2026
One dot at a time.
Until suddenly, you can see it.
Day 16.
Still counting in thousands.
Each dot feels insignificant on its own.
Together, they build a face.
Today was one of those days when the portrait finally started emerging.
A reminder that progress is often invisible…
until it isn’t.
Day 15.
Thousands of dots done.
Thousands of dots left.
The portrait is slowly emerging.
One dot.
One hour.
One day at a time.

Thousands of dots placed.
Thousands still waiting.
Day 13.
Thousands of tiny dots.
Still unfinished.
Still showing up.
This stage is the hardest part. The image isn’t fully there yet, but the work keeps stacking.
That’s the trick with detailed art:
stop chasing the final result.
Focus on the next dot.
More progress every day.
More depth.
More clarity.
And soon, this massive mess of dots will turn into something worth staring at.

Day 12 of painting this portrait made from thousands of tiny dots.
I originally thought this piece would take around 20 days… but the deeper I get into the details, the less sure I am.
That’s the funny thing about this process:
one tiny dot feels meaningless, but together they slowly bring the portrait to life.
Progress may look small every day — but small details change everything.
Day 11 of painting this portrait made from thousands of tiny dots.
Consistency in art isn’t always exciting — most days, it’s simply showing up again. One dot at a time.
For me, consistency means stability:
stable methods, stable standards, and trusting the process before the final image fully appears.
The real magic of detailed artwork happens slowly… through thousands of tiny decisions.
Let’s see where this painting goes next ✨

Day 10 of painting this portrait made from thousands of tiny dots.
Right now, it still looks like chaos…
but this is the stage where consistency matters most.
One dot. One day. One step closer.
And soon, you’ll start seeing the portrait appear.
I promise 😊
Day 9 of painting this portrait made from thousands of tiny dots.
Right now, it still looks a little chaotic up close…
but this is the stage where the structure finally starts to appear.
Just a few more thousand dots to go.
A good reminder for the start of the week:
beautiful things take time.
