Thereās almost nothing better than koldÅ«nai, so I thought Iād try making them from scratch. š±š¹š„
They ended up looking a little more like mini kibinai than koldūnai, but for a British lad living in Lithuania, I reckon this was a solid 9/10 effort.
What do you think? Also what Lithuanian dish shall I try cook next?

One of the things I love most about living in Lithuania is that there always seems to be something new to discover, and after today Iāve already added a whole list of places to explore.
Just had a really exciting meeting with KaunasIN
Over the next few weeks, Iām going to be taking you with me as I uncover some hidden corners of Kaunas, visit places Iāve somehow never seen before, and show you why I chose this city as my home.
So over the next couple of weeks, expect plenty of adventures, recommendations, and a behind-the-scenes of places you might not of discovered yourself š

A few months ago I shared that Iād been working on something behind the scenes here in Lithuania.
At the time it was just stacks of timber, sketches, ideas, and conversations about whether we could actually turn this into something real.
Iāve teamed up with a couple of incredibly talented local craftsmen here Lithuania, and together weāve spent countless hours designing, testing, refining and building every luxury functional art piece by hand, clocks, serving boards, chopping boards, tables
Iāve always wanted to build a product-based business. Iāve always loved interiors, functional design and products that tell a story, so seeing these finally come to life feels like a really exciting milestone for me personally.
What makes me most proud is that everything is being designed and produced right here in Lithuania š±š¹
From raw timber boards to the finished product, every piece has passed through our workshop and been crafted by hand with a huge amount of care and attention to detail.
There have been plenty of challenges, mistakes and late nights along the way, but thatās what makes this moment so rewarding, every product photo you see on the website has been taken by hand.
Just a small thank you to everyone who has followed my journey since moving to Lithuania, supported my businesses, and encouraged me to keep building, every product you add to your basket will also have 25% deducted from the price ā¤ļø
The website has also been created by myself:

What Lithuanian dish shall I try to cook first? Aslong as itās not cepelinai, I have already attempted this 3x and it failed almost every time!
Iām also going to try cook some dishes speaking only in Lithuanian to improve my language, should be fun š
If you have been following my content you should know I have a passion for cooking itās one of the only things that allows me to shut off and not think about work, whenever Leo is here I love cooking him hearty meals from scratch and new recipes that Iāve learnt
And Iāve just received some chef knifes that Iāve always wanted now just waiting on some new lighting and a microphone and I will start the cooking series
Let me know what dishes I should try to cook š„

Weāve got a little bit of sun in Kaunas today at 21°C⦠meanwhile England is having a 30°C heatwave on a bank holiday Monday.
What a treat for you living in the UK or is it too hot?š
I used to post everything as it was happening.
Where I was.
Who I was with.
What I was doing.
Then my car got stolen in Vilnius.
My address has been sent to me multiple times
And Iāve also weirdly had strangers sending me photos of myself just walking around
That changes how you see the internet, but Iām new to content creation
But things like this happening stops it feeling like āsharing your lifeā and starts feeling like giving people a map.
So now I move differently.
I still share my life.
I still tell the story.
I still want people to be part of the journey.
But not in real time.
The restaurant gets tagged after I leave.
The hotel gets posted after I check out.
The flight photo goes up when Iāve landed.
Some moments are for living first.
Some places donāt need an audience while youāre still there.
And some parts of your life deserve protection before they become content.
If youāre a content creator, Live it first.
Post it later.
Before moving to Lithuania, I honestly would never have thought about coming here for dental treatment I wasnāt educated in how advanced the country actually is I thought it was stuck in time.
After almost 2 years living here, my opinion has completely changed.
The level of care, technology and honesty Iāve experienced with dental here has genuinely surprised me which is why I wanted to document this.
This is the start of my EMAX veneer journey with Lux dental clinic in Vilnius, but what impressed me most was that they didnāt rush straight into treatment and Iām finding that a lot with Lithuania!
After scans, jaw movement tracking and a full analysis, they explained that going straight to veneers would mean removing a lot of my natural teeth it was still up to me if I wanted to straight with veneers but I chose to protect my smile long term.
So instead, weāre doing it properly: gum health is already done, aligners next, then EMAX veneers.
Thatās what I respect about Lithuania. Itās not just about the price. Itās about standards, trust and doing things the right way.
More people are travelling here for dental and medical treatment, and after experiencing it myself, I completely understand why.
Lithuania is definitely my choose for dental over Turkey, Dubai and the UK š±š¹

Surrounded by cepelinai I finally managed to hit my goal weight 95kg ā 79kg. (16kg or 35.3lbs lost) š
Iām genuinely so so happy with my results.
The goal wasnāt just to lose weight, it was to rebuild myself without losing the muscle.
Itās been slow, but thatās what made it sustainable.
Towards the end of last year, a lot was going wrong. I was in a rut, overeating just to get through the day, partying a little too much and I knew something had to change.
Now I feel more confident, happier, and more in control of my life again.
And the part Iām most proud of? I managed to stay consistent while running multiple businesses, posting constantly, and having my little boy most of the time 4 nights a week.
Do I follow the news about whatās happening in the UK now I live in Lithuania? Hereās my opinion on the news! š
Some locals in my comments love saying itās impossible to build here, impossible to succeed here, impossible to make something happen, ofcourse I never listen.
But recently I met James another young English guy whoās lived here longer than me and has opened his own gym āUnity Fitnessā in the capital city, focused on personal training.
Now Iām curiousā¦
What have other foreigners built in Lithuania?
And what have locals launched here that more people should know about?
Maybe Iāll start doing interviews of who are building here to show that if you actually commit, you can create something anywhere.
I was isolated for most of my first year in Lithuania but it didnāt stop me from putting myself in positions where I thought I didnāt belong. And this is just a reminder that life can be so f*ing good when you put yourself out of your comfort zone, I can only imagine what another couple of years of hard work will look like.
I didnāt even post content online until I stepped foot in this country. Imagine that!
Even in a country you donāt speak the language you can accomplish anything. If youāre ever looking to move to a different place donāt hold yourself back, go for it, work hard and make life happen, you might just feel more at home than the country you left.
