Yesterday, the Institute of Development Management (IDM) Lesotho successfully completed a three (3) day training on Customer Care tailored for the second batch of the Central Bank of Lesotho security personnel, front line staff, to enhance service delivery, professionalism, and customer experience.

As the financial regulator, the Central Bank plays a critical role in maintaining monetary stability, fostering economic growth, and ensuring the integrity of the financial system. In delivering these mandates, every point of interaction with the public, stakeholders, and internal clients must reflect professionalism, efficiency, and excellence in customer care.

Security personnel and front-line staff, in particular, serve as the first and last point of contact, making their role crucial in shaping customer perceptions and institutional reputation. Therefore, strengthening customer care competencies is essential to ensure a positive, secure, and professional service environment.
