Snippet of some work thats in the pipeline. "Still Fly" (which not only features RMGs latest affiliate but is also being reworked and reproduced by Sean Clarks) is part of the body of work I've been investing alot lf time and effort putting together. Some mag hear the "same ol' Tore" but if you pay attention to the details inbetween the lines, you'll be surprised to find that the caterpillar some have gotten used to is now a butterfly.
Are y'all ready?

Can we discuss/name the sub-genres of rap. These could be ones that have no specific name (like kwaito rap for my southern african folks) or others that you feel need to be made evident. For example some people havent quite grasped what lofi is or the difference between boom bap (generally) or trap.
My intention is to shed light on where alot of us, hip hop artists in Lesotho, actually sit and the key differences within each genre.
This here was inspired by another (life long) debate i watched a few days ago where Nas (my favorite rapper and the blueprint to the core of my artistry. Proudly) and Jay-Z. Somehow, decades later, the difference betwee. These 2 artists still hasnt been pinpointed.
What I've realized is that "we" have a tendancy to bunch rappers up not knowing or understanding how to characterize or categorize them or their music. The argument of Rap being an acronym (Rythym And Poetry) needs to be made clear for alot of the 'still learning' hip hopers.
Are you still rapping if your singing? And once a rapper elevates to singing on most of their songs, do we still call them appers? Like, Chris brown has rap verses on many songs, does this automatically make him a rapper?
I'd love to know what you all think and what elese you feel should be added
