Education should not only prepare learners to pass examinations, it should prepare them to navigate life.

Today, we were privileged to welcome another group of learners from Lesotho High School, who engaged in a meaningful discussion on healthy relationships, what healthy relationships mean, why they matter, and the characteristics that define them.

This is the kind of education we believe can contribute to a better Lesotho. Education that confronts real-life issues, develops responsible individuals, builds awareness, and empowers young people to become part of the solutions to the challenges facing their communities.

At IBC College, we believe this approach should not be limited to special programmes. It should be reflected across academic programmes, connecting knowledge in the classroom with the realities of life beyond it.

We have already started, and visits like this remind us why the journey matters.

📌From learning about problems to becoming part of the solution‼️

Today, IBC College had the privilege of hosting learners from Lesotho High School as part of their LBSE CBPR Project, a research initiative focused on drug abuse among young people, with particular attention to the Sea Point or Stadium Area Constituency.

What stood out about their visit was not only the research they are conducting, but the purpose behind it. These young people are not simply learning to pass examinations, they are developing the courage to understand real challenges affecting their communities and to explore solutions that can make a difference.

At IBC College, we believe education should go beyond the classroom. It should build young people who can identify problems, ask meaningful questions, create solutions and contribute to the future of their communities.

To the learners who visited us today, your visit will always matter to us. Keep researching. Keep questioning. Keep creating solutions. The future needs young people who do more than watch problems, but it needs those who become part of solving them.
