Core Responsibilities

Client Assessment & Consultation:
Reviewing medical histories, discussing symptoms, and determining desired results to tailor sessions.
Treatment Administration: Applying, soft tissue manipulation techniques to muscles to treat injuries, improve circulation, and promote relaxation.
Specialized Techniques: Incorporating tools or methods such as hot stones, cold packs, or aromatherapy, when necessary.
Documentation & Safety: Keeping accurate, confidential client records and adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols.
Client Education: Advising on stretching, exercises, and self-care techniques for home maintenance.
Facility Upkeep: Preparing treatment rooms, cleaning equipment, and managing inventory.

Required Skills & Attributes
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and apply consistent, firm pressure.
Communication & Empathy: Active listening to understand client needs and providing a comfortable, empathetic experience.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
Professionalism: Maintaining proper licensure, certifications, and, in many settings, meeting sales goals for retail products.

We have found ourselves in unprecedented times and as such we would like to at least keep the pageant going with “Virtual Winners for 2021” and then host the full pageant later in the year where you will all still participate.

The categories will remain the same: -
Miss Virtual Africa 2021 – Ages 18 - 25 years. Single / Never Married / Never given birth
Ms Virtual Africa 2021 – Ages 18 - 30 years. Single / Divorced / Widowed / Engaged / Has given birth
Ms Elite Virtual Africa 2021 – Ages 30 - 40 years. Single / Divorced / Widowed / Engaged / Has given birth
Mrs Virtual Africa 2021 – Ages 25 - 40 years. Married
Mrs Classic Virtual Africa 2021 – Ages 40 - 60 years

We will select an overall Winner, 1st & 2nd Runner-up in each of the above titles.

We will host the pageant as a Virtual Pageant and by this we mean the following:-

You would need to send in two videos to us.
• One with you walking a T-Ramp in Evening Wear.
• The second would be a video / presentation of you showcasing any charity work you have been involved in since having been announced as a finalist. This will be a maximum of two minutes long. You should be the narrator of this presentation.
• We will select a date early in December whereby you will have a Zoom / WhatsApp interview with a panel of judges as well. We anticipate that this will be the 4th December.
