We've experienced great growth throughout ever since we started our butchery section under the Manonyane Group. The growth came as a result of, but not limited to the following;

1. We sell strictly 6 - 10 months pigs which are still very soft and juicy.
2. We monitor their general care to ensure health and safely throughout their life span.
3. You choose which part and size, and we deliver exactly how you want it.

But the growth has come with its challenges, which we need to address quickly.

INEFFICIENCY
We sometimes run out of prime cuts as our customers are quite particularly about their cuts. This is largely caused by inadequate storage and bad inventory management systems. Please advise how best we can manage our inventory to avoid stockouts? The best answer stands a chance to win M100.00 in cash.

Perhaps time has come for the butchery function to operate independently from the farm, under a new name and at a location closer to our people, where they can easily access our products, enhancing efficiency, that which is at the core of our very existence.

We will see how this new adventure unfolds in the coming weeks and/or months

Manonyane Piggery is nolonger just a pig farm, it has, in recent months, grown into becoming a food company, focusing mainly on pig products, from piglets, live animals, trotters, stew, braai cuts and Sawdust etc.

But we are again now expanding to chicken and all it's products, drumsticks, wings, hearts, gizzards etc. Our aim is to become the biggest food supplier of choice, servicing households, events and the hospitality sector
