Such an eventful weekend we had 😊 On Saturday 09 Sep we hosted an Introduction to Cloud Computing 1/2 day training session virtually. Our efforts are always towards equipping our youth with the skills to take part in the growing technology space.

The training covered:

- On-premises IT infrastructure and support
- The concept of server virtualization
- The Cloud and Cloud Computing - benefits, cloud deployments, and service models, and a quick demonstration using AWS.

It was amazing having our participants take away so much from the sessions and we will surely be hosting more of these.

Today we will host the Cloud Computing Training virtually for all our successful applicants as we encourage our youth to take part in technology education and careers. We are super excited 🤩 Did you miss this opportunity? Follow our page and look out for the next application date.

All you need is a laptop and internet to attend the online training session, it is completely free.

We are happy to host another online training session to help our youth participate in the technology space and to help them secure jobs in the growing field. Applications are now open for the Cloud Computing Fundamentals Training we will be hosting in August. This session is not gender specific. Anyone who wants to learn about the Cloud and opportunities in this space is welcome to apply.

Happy International Girls in ICT Day

This year and every year, ITU and its partners work together to inspire and encourage girls to pursue a future in ICTs and to empower them by ensuring they have the necessary skills, confidence, and support to achieve their goals.

At Basali Tech, we strive to contribute to this goal through our initiatives such as the mentoring program and training boot camps.

Our guest speaker Likeleli Mphutlane Monyamane summed up the program so well by sharing her development perspective and talked about personal, professional and leadership development. She also encouraged us to be intentional our development journey, and mentioned how crucial it is to know ourselves. Thank you, for so eagerly sharing with others.

Shout out to the facilitator of our inaugural BasaliTech Leadership Program Setsoto Çhrîşty Hlohlomi - Molieleng, for the wealth of knowledge she has brought to these sessions. While this was a women only cohort, we look forward to many more diverse groups in the future for our aspiring leaders

Has it really been 5 weeks ? Time truly does fly when you are having fun. We have learned so much from your participation in the program. Kudos, for being intentional about your leadership journey, and trusting us to guide you with it
