LWF President has left the country for IWF congress in Saudi Arabia, the journey is funded by IWF with airfare and accomodatiin,without perdiem nor meals.He was to go with our
SG who failed due to funds since LNOC and LSRC claims to have no fundings.

1 ATHLETE (Mokhethi Makhanya) has attended the 2025 African Senior Weightlifting Championships held in Mauritius from the 20-28th. He will compete on the 24th.
He is accompanied by 2 Coaches:
Relebohile Motjamela and Mangaka Tjoloba who are going there to finalise their certfication process for Inernational licensing which is now required by the IWF for them to be able to attend IWF events.
The first Coach left on 19th, Mangaka on the 20th and athlete today.
The trip is wholly financed by the IWF through their development fund because LNOC and LSRC declined to support it due to lack of funds. This means that they have no allowances where they are
In Mauritius there is also a Weightlifting Federation of Africa Electoral Congress which the SG nor the President could not attend due to said lack of funds.

One of our prominent Athletes will be making her Debut in the Olympic Games in today. The Former Face of Lesotho Queen will hoist the nation's flag as she cruises to the Quarter Finals at the expense of NEMATZADEH Mobina.
