PISA held socioeconomic empowerment for youth in Mokhotlong urban council in collaboration with Ministry of gender youth sports and recreation, social development and youth businessmen of Mokhotlong. The session also covered democratic human rights and social inclusion for youth. and

PISA continues to capacitate community structures so that they can improve on service delivery at community level and good governance of citizens.PISA trained chiefs at Ha Majara in Berea District. Participants were trained on roles and responsibilities discharged by chiefs, Land act, Range management, Heirs, and chief's succession as it is written in ( molao oa Lerotholi 1968 No.22), child protection act which stipulates process of nomination for caretaker or guardian. This training was organized and facilitated by LNFOD in collaboration with legal department and office of chieftainship. and European Union in Lesotho

PISA engaged with Ha seng,Ha Daniel and Ha Hlabathe citizens in Semonkong to identify needs priorities of citizens so that government can help to respond by providing those services to the citizens. The needs identified in their order of priority are : Road, water, toilets, field crops seeds, and electricity. During this gathering citizens were encouraged to go and register with IEC. For those who have already registered, they were encouraged to go and update their information or data. The required documents to register were explained during the gathering and clarifications were made to those who had questions. Citizens left the gathering clear on the process of registration at IEC centres. PISA today on the 16 /06/ 2022 held capacity building for PISA community facilitators, Executive officers from offices of principal chiefs and district administrators(DA), PISA coordinators from implementing partners, PISA coordinator from IEC, LCN representative, local government representative through the department of human resource and chieftainship. The aim is to capacitate participants on the roles and responsibilities of chiefs and community councils, and also to capacitate them with legal knowledge on the issues of chieftainship successions, land allocation and range management. PISA has done it again and again in Mokhotlong. PISA today on the 14 June 2022 held youth dialogue session at Linakaneng village in Menoaneng Council. The issue of discussion was teenage pregnancy among youth and side effects caused by teenage pregnancy. This discussion was facilitated by the nurse from Linakaneng clinic. In the same gathering the ministry of Forestry and Land reclamation through the department of range was also present to education youth about the importance of environment and benefits gained from good rangelands management. The officer encouraged youth to form youth groups for economic development so that the department of range can support them with livelihoods projects such as bee production for honey and fodder production to feed their animals in order to relief overstocking of rangelands. IEC also took advantage of the already on going public gathering to encourage youth to register for 2022 upcoming National assembly elections. PISA engaged with Ha Masienyane citizens in Semonkong to identify priority needs of citizens so that the dialogue can take place on the pressing priority need. The identified needs were: road, water, toilets, woolshed, clinic and electricity. Road was the priority need for the community. In this public gathering all sectors of the society were represented: youth, men, women and people with disability. PISA continues to empower citizens with democratic knowledge and good governance.
on the 7/06/2022 PISA held public gathering in Quthing at Tsitsong village. The objective of citizen dialogue was an engagement between citizens and different government departments. Different departments were asked to account for low service delivery to the citizens. The following departments/line ministries were present: office of district administrator, social development, Education, police, Forestry and Agriculture. IEC was also present to share with citizens that registration for people who will be 18 years old when elections come has now resumed for those people to do their registration. The event was graced by the presence of District administrator. The event was facilitated by CCJP as an implementing partner to PISA programme.

PISA facilitated youth dialogue session with youth from the following villages: Riverside, Ha Mohau,Ha Letsika, Malimong, Ha Marumo, Majaheng, Ha Bolese and Majakaneng at Khutlo-se-metsi council in Thaba Tseka.
Topic of discussion was : self reliance to engage in income generating activities or projects to reduce youth unemployment.
This session was facilitated by PISA implementing partner TRC.

PISA continues to motivate and to encourage citizens to participate in numbers in 2022 national assembly elections. IEC in Berea and LNFOD held public gathering at Liotloaneng and Menyameng in Makeoana council in Berea to encourage citizens to register for 2022 elections, so that they can exercise their democratic right to participate in 2022 elections. and European Union in Lesotho.
