Lesotho Post (also known as Lesotho Postal Services) is a department within The Ministry of Communications, Science and Technology, has 46 Post Offices.
It's mandate is to supply and carry messages, goods and payments to all its clients globally. The Lesotho Post Office has a long history with the Republic of South Africa. The nearest Post Office that Basotho used in 1840 was a Post Office in Colesberg, South Africa. The first Postal Agency was opened in Maseru on the 1st January 1872.
