The British High Commission Maseru is excited to launch this year’s Commonwealth Day Essay Competition, and YOU could be one of our winners! 🏆🔥Whether you’re a storyteller, a poet, a future leader, or someone who simply loves sharing ideas… this competition is YOUR stage. 🌟

This year’s big question:
✨ “How can Lesotho leverage multilateralism and its membership in the Commonwealth to turn around the economy and address youth unemployment?”

NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF LESOTHO 50TH GRADUATION CEREMONY HELD ON THE 22ND SEPTEMBER 2025.

The National University of Lesotho held it’s 50th Graduation Ceremony from the 22nd September 2025 where on that first day Faculty of Humanities, Department of Communications and Study Skills, Library and Information Studies’ students walked on the podium before King’s procession to receive their awards. Among those students, Likonelo Alinah Makara received an added award of the “Best Performing Student” from The President of the Lesotho Library Association Mrs. 'Mamonaheng Sylvia Tsukudu.

It is Archives Week. From the 09th to the 13th June 2025.
Anyone that uses the archives understands that they are accessible. Initiatives like, preservation, digitisation, conservation, AI development and the likes, are all facilitating for ease of access to rather inaccessible archives. Either they would have been destroyed, locked up or damaged beyond information retrieval.
