LNDC participated in the Nigeria-Lesotho Joint Business and Investment Forum held in Abuja on 29 July 2026, reaffirming Lesotho's commitment to building strategic partnerships that drive investment, industrialisation and regional trade.
Our CEO, Mr. Thabo D. Khasipe delivered a presentation on Lesotho's Business Environment and Investment Opportunities, highlighting Lesotho's competitive advantages and reinforcing a clear investment proposition:

The forum also featured keynote addresses and remarks from members of the Nigerian delegation, as well as Lesotho's Minister of Trade, Industry and Business Development, Honourable Motlatsi Maqelepo, and the Right Honourable Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Samuel Ntsokoane Matekane.
Beyond the government engagements, the forum also provided a platform for presentations from the private sector, alongside inspiring presentations by three trailblazing youth-led businesses under Sebabatso. Representing the sectors of Digital Transformation, Mining & Foreign Investment, and Clean Energy, the trailblazers demonstrated Lesotho's commitment to empowering young innovators and entrepreneurs while connecting them to regional investment opportunities that drive innovation, industrialisation and national progress.
LNDC remains committed to positioning Lesotho as a competitive investment destination and facilitating partnerships that create jobs, promote industrialisation and expand market access for Basotho businesses. These efforts are aligned with the Letsema Strategy, which seeks to accelerate inclusive economic growth by fostering industrial development, supporting Basotho enterprises and attracting strategic investment that creates sustainable employment opportunities.
