Mohau G. Ramakhula is a Digital Transformation Manager & Solutions Architect at Econet Telecom Lesotho (ETL) with over 9 years of experience across telecommunications, banking, fintech, enterprise architecture, digital payments, and digital transformation.

His experience includes leading and contributing to impactful initiatives such as:

💡 National payment systems modernization

💡 Mobile money platforms

💡 Instant payments infrastructure

💡 API ecosystems

💡 Digital financial services innovation

💡 AI-driven solutions and emerging technologies

Prior to joining ETL, Mohau played a key role at the Central Bank of Lesotho, managing critical payment systems including SWIFT, RTGS, ACH, card switching, and instant payment platforms.

Currently, he drives enterprise architecture strategy, digital innovation, AI adoption, API management, and emerging technologies at ETL while championing Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technology adoption.

The TFUG-TensorFlow User Group Lesotho User Group successfully hosted the Build with AI event at the American Corner Maseru, bringing together AI enthusiasts, developers, students, and professionals for a day filled with learning, innovation, and collaboration.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible speakers for delivering insightful and interactive sessions:
🔹 Mr. Yuba Raj Panta presented "Building Secure AI Apps with Gemini, Model Armor, and Cloud Run." He demonstrated how to build an AI Customer Support Bot for a secure banking environment, showcasing the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, securing applications with Model Armor, and providing an engaging live demonstration.

🔹 Buchi Michelle Okonicha led an exciting session on "Building a Smarter Travel Agent: A Guide to AI Memory." Participants explored the concepts of AI memory and learned how to create an intelligent travel agent application from the ground up.

🔹 Mr. Selematsela Neo delivered a thought-provoking presentation on "Security for AI vs AI for Security." His session covered topics such as the AI System Lifecycle, AI security challenges, and how AI can be leveraged to strengthen cybersecurity. This was one of the most engaging discussions of the day.

🔹 Mr. Morapeli Thetsane guided attendees through prompt engineering using Generative AI Studio, helping participants understand how to effectively interact with and build solutions using generative AI technologies.

Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Government of Lesotho under the Ministry of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation, Tieho has played a vital role in strengthening cybersecurity resilience across both public and private sectors in Lesotho.

With experience spanning banking and telecommunications industries, he has successfully led Security Operations Centre (SOC) initiatives focused on cyber resilience, threat detection, security monitoring, and incident response.
