Human Rights 4 Youth — Recap!
Last Saturday, 11 July, young people had a powerful morning of learning, dialogue, and reflection!
Our youth dove into three key themes:
SRHR (Sexual & Reproductive Health Rights) — because knowledge about our bodies is power, and every young person deserves accurate information to make informed choices.
Public Participation— empowering youth to raise their voices, engage in civic life, and know that their perspectives matter in shaping their communities.
Remembrance — honoring the journey and sacrifices that have shaped the human rights we continue to fight for today.
From "Our Bodies, Our Rights, Our Future" to "Knowledge Empowers, Rights Liberate" — the energy in the room said it all. Our youth left informed, inspired, and ready to advocate for themselves and their peers.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made this event a success!
With thanks to our partners: LPPA (Lesotho Planned Parenthood Association)

Congratulations, Graduating Leaders!
Last Friday, 10 July, we celebrated an unforgettable milestone as The Leader's Workshop graduates came together at Unesco Hall for a morning of celebration, inspiration, and recognition!
We were truly honored to host powerful keynote addresses from: H.E. Former Prime Minister Moeketsi Majoro
Reatlehile Makateng
Their words of wisdom and encouragement reminded our graduates of the impact they're capable of making as they step into their next chapter of leadership.
From 9AM to 1PM, the room was filled with pride, purpose, and promise. To every graduate — you did it! This is a testament to your dedication, growth, and the leader you've become.
A huge congratulations to the entire graduating class, and heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this celebration possible!
In partnership with the Lesotho National Council of Women.

FROM TRAINING TO IMPACT !
We are incredibly proud to celebrate a group of young leaders trained through The Leader's Workshop (TLW) in May, who successfully designed and implemented the Young Adults Empowerment (YAE) Project at Tholoana ea Lerato Orphanage on Saturday, 13 June 2026.
The project, themed "Joining Hands to Empower Young Children," was inspired by a simple but powerful belief:" Don't forget the children because the children are our future ."
Through this initiative, the team sought to expose orphaned and vulnerable children to meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom, helping them build confidence, resilience, social skills, and a greater understanding of the world around them.
During the visit, the team:
●Engaged children through interactive games, storytelling, singing, sports, and group activities.
●Facilitated discussions with teenagers on healthy boundaries, positive decision-making, study skills, selflessness, and personal responsibility.
●Promoted teamwork, confidence-building, and environmental awareness.
●Donated essential items including vaseline, sanitary towels, fruits, and sweets to support the children's daily needs.
The orphanage currently cares for 29 children between the ages of 2 and 18 years, and it was heartwarming to witness the joy, excitement, and gratitude expressed by the children throughout the day.
This project is a powerful testament to what happens when young people are equipped, empowered, and given the opportunity to lead. What began as a training experience through "The Leaders Workshop" became a meaningful act of service that touched lives and strengthened community connections.
Special congratulations to the project team:
Reitumetse Tefo, Lynda Phahla, Nthatisi Mofoka, Lipolelo Molapo, Thabo Moima, Tlholohelo Tsibela, and Tankiso Telajane .
Your commitment, leadership, and compassion have demonstrated that true leadership is not about position,it's about making a difference in the lives of others.
At The Leader's Workshop, we are proud to see our participants turning knowledge into action and becoming catalysts for positive change in their communities.
Together, we are raising leaders who don't just dream of a better future, they actively build it.
