I have been quiet for so long

Her Passing Was ...
December was meant to create some beautiful memories with her
Last month of the year was meant for us to reflect and regain
Last days were meant for her to enjoy her grandkids' presence
Her sons silent but impactful presence
Tables however turned
Sides switched
We did have a party yes
But in her absence of physical form
But of a powerful , strong spiritual presence
We did have a gathering
One of a kind
A movie of 2 weeks was shot
Mathabo Rebecca Booi was the host
And yeah her house after a long time
Was filled with multitudes of visitors
Once your room became a utility room
Once your kitchen became the catering area
Once your sitting room became the resting place
Once your quiet sitting area
Was turned into a gathering space
Thank you for gracing us with your beautiful presence

It was such pride for the event to come to the masters of events, welcoming people for us Basotho is innate, it's the one thing that we can't shy away from.
Lijo li jeoa ka baeti, kannete we got to feel the love and respect that Africans have , we still crave for one common thing ; A borderless Africa.
However our stories I believe for 7 days were best told by us not someone else.
A full 7 days packed with knowledge, curiosity, enlightenment, ideas and of course art and talks.
Grateful to African Writers Conference and Writers Space Africa-Lesotho 🤗🤗

Really had fun at the Hotspot Cypher, talent in Lesotho is a major big deal
Raps and Rhymes were just intertwining with the words written on paper and sound, sound was just a way to move our dead bones
Lethaha Thamae and the whole Lesotho Music everyone who performed y all were worthy of writing about
