LUCT, BOTHO UNIVERSITY PERFORM TO MAXIMUM
Maseru- LUCT and Botho University men football teams performed to their level best during the LUCSA ball games qualifiers hosted by LUCSA last month.
Both teams collected maximum points to lead their groups and qualify to the quarterfinals. LUCT completed the qualifiers leading Group A with 10 points after playing four matches while Botho University are Group C leaders with 10 points in four matches, with both teams winning 3 matches and managing a draw in one match.
LUCSA ball games quarterfinals and the indoor games are scheduled for this month with the venue yet to be announced.

Today matches commence at 09:00 without fail, teams must be on time to avoid forfeit as per article 5.
UNFINISHED GROUP STAGES MATCHES
Unfinished LUCSA group stage matches will be played at Lesotho Agricultural College on Saturday April 23rd with the quarterfinals to be staged in May.
The group stage matches started on April 8 with ball games at the two venues, LAC and LCE in Maseru.
The games have not been hosted for 2 years now as they have last been held in 2019 and faced postponement in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19.

LIKUENA HEAD COACH AT LUCSA GAMES
Maseru- Likuena Head Coach Veselin Jelusic and Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) Technical Director Leslie Notsi were seen scouting players during the first day of the LUCSA 2022 games at Lesotho Agricultural College.
According to LUCSA Communication and Marketing Manager Lits'itso Thamae, the duo shown interest in some players and took note of their details.
LUCSA hosted ball games qualifiers from Friday April 8 until Sunday where eight teams from various sporting codes booked their spot in the quarterfinals set to take place at a date to be confirmed in May.

LUCSA GAMES IN MOTION
Maseru-Lesotho Universities and Colleges Sports Association (LUCSA) 2022 Games, a sporting event hosted by LUCSA is set to take place on April 8 until 10 at Lesotho Agricultural College (LAC) and Lesotho College of Education (LCE) with the ball games group stage.
This after the event failed to surface in 2021 due to COVID-19 imposed national lockdown. The tournament group stage will see Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Netball and Lawn Tennis athletes battle it out to fight for a spot in the quarterfinals which will be played at a later stage.
The tournament will also be used to scout players to form Team Lesotho to compete in Region 5 CUCSA games scheduled for Lilongwe, Malawi early August.

LUCSA TO HOST BALL GAMES OVER THE WEEKEND
Maseru-LUCSA shall on host the ball games group stages over the weekend from Friday April 8 until Sunday April 10 at Lesotho Agricultural College (LAC) and Lesotho College of Education (LCE) grounds. Institutions are grouped in the following manner where they will play a round robin system.
There shall be two teams to qualify for quarter finals from each group which have more points and goals and there shall be eight teams in quarter finals, the two best losers from the groups shall join the qualified teams to add up teams to eight in quarterfinals.
~The grouping is done based on football as the mostly followed sport.

LUCSA PRESIDENT AT CUCSA AGM
Maseru- Lesotho Universities and Colleges Sports Association (LUCSA) President and CUCSA executive committee member Mr Ts'epang Mantutle on Friday attended CUCSA annual general meeting in Malawi.
The meeting discussed the preparation and hosting of 2022 CUCSA games set for Malawi in Winter, with Lesotho chosen as the next host of the regional sports event.
