It is based in the culturally rich and rural Maphuts'eng Valley in Mohale's Hoek district.

Look who is here๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„This is Nteboheleng Mphale also known as Ntebo. She is a brilliant and self-driven adolescent who is passionate about youth development and epowerment. She is going to represent Partners In Community Development (PICD) at National Networking Pitso which will be held at Manthabiseng Convention Centre Maseru tommorow the 29th January 2026.
Young people will be discussing with policy makers, issues of youth in relation to access to finance and sustainable livelihoods.

This Networking Pitso was graced by the presence of UNICEF Country Representative in the left, European Union Representative in the middle and Mohale's Hoek District Administrator in the right hand side.

Youth and other stakeholders gathered in numbers at the Networking Pitso. Youth participated actively as they clearly stated what should policy makers do to overcome youth challenges particularly alarming youth unemployment rate in Lesotho.

Representatives of Youth-led CSOs from Qacha's Nek, Quthing, Mohale's Hoek and Mafeteng districts at the Networking Pitso (Youth Dialogue). PICD was also represented in this fruitful, impactful and interactive activity.

PICD is participating at the Networking Pitso held at Rubricon Guest House in Mohale's Hoek district. This is the platform where youth (collectively and individually) gathered to discuss issues that affect them. We also have penalists (Youth) who presented the work that they do to overcome the challenge of unemployment among youth. Their stories are inspiring.
Among others, they have thrown themselves in recycling and Finance industries.

Youth participated actively in Focus Group Discussions during Action Research that was conducted by Partners In Community Development (PICD) with support from Development For Peace Education (DPE).

One of the community leaders (Village Health Worker) Mrs Mampolokeng Mabea congratulated youth for being part of the Action Research. She said youth should use their talents and skills to change their lives. She further expressed her gratitude for the presence of PICD in Maphuts'eng.
