Fasting and prayer are powerful spiritual disciplines that draw believers closer to God, sharpen spiritual sensitivity, and release divine intervention.
In Joel 2:12–13, God calls His people to return to Him with all their hearts through fasting, weeping, and repentance, showing that fasting is not just abstaining from food but a sincere turning of the heart.
Deuteronomy 8:3 reminds us that man lives not by bread alone but by every word from God, emphasizing dependence on Him.

Prophetic Decrees
