FIRE EXTINGUISHERS

The most efficient way to turn off a fire at the start is by using the appropriate fire extinguisher. But one must be knowledgeable of the types of Fire Classes in order to select the best extinguisher.
One must:
1. Always check the fire type.
2. Select the appropriate fire extinguisher.
3. Maintain a safe distance from fire.
4. Follow the PASS guideline :
- Pull the Pin,
- Aim the Nozzle towards the fire,
- Squeeze the Lever to release the extinguisher compound,
- Sweep from Right to Left.

Always remember, if you feel that fire is still spreading at a higher rate please evacuate the area immediately and ask for help by calling the fire emergency lines.
