Watanga FC midfielder Varney B. Varney was forced off early in the second half after sustaining a head injury during the match.

According to the club, he is currently receiving medical attention at St. Timothy Government Hospital in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County. The team says further updates on his condition will be provided as they become available.
