My verdict on Bucky raw issue of imprisonment.

Under Article 21(b) of the Constitution of the Republic of Liberia, every citizen is protected from unlawful search and seizure. The Constitution clearly states that:
No person shall be subjected to search or seizure of his person, property, or effects except by a warrant issued upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized.

In this case, Bucky Raw was searched and arrested without the officers presenting or possessing a valid warrant. This action is a direct violation of Article 21(b) of the Constitution
Because the search was conducted without a warrant, and not during the commission of a crime nor under hot pursuit, the search becomes unconstitutional. Any drugs allegedly found as a result of that unlawful search are therefore inadmissible in court, as they were obtained through a violation of the accused’s fundamental rights.

The Constitution is clear: law enforcement must follow due process, regardless of the nature of the allegation. Failure to do so renders their actions illegal.
The Constitution exists to protect all citizens, including those accused of crimes. Even if drugs were found, constitutional rights cannot be ignored or bypassed. The courts must not allow evidence obtained through illegal means to be used to secure a conviction.
Since the arrest and search were carried out without a warrant and outside the exceptions allowed by Article 21(b), the arrest is unlawful. On this constitutional basis, the charges against Bucky Raw should be dismissed, or at minimum, the evidence obtained should be excluded.

On this day which is today marks more than just another birthday for me. It marks a turning point, a moment in which the person I have been, the person I have fought to shape despite everything I’ve endured, stands face-to-face with the person I am becoming. Birthdays are often portrayed as simple celebrations, filled with candles, messages, and moments of joy, but this one is different. This one carries weight. It carries memory. It carries responsibility. And, most importantly, it carries a revolutionary decision that will define the path ahead of me.
So today, as I receive and celebrate this special day of mine , I allow it to be a reminder, a reflection, and a proclamation. Happy birthday to the version of me who survived, the version who grew, and the version who is ready to choose differently.
