The Department of Computer Sciences at the University of Liberia successfully hosted its first in-house Digital Capacity Building Training Workshop in collaboration with Ramsys Info Tech Solutions from Ghana 🇬🇭 . This complimentary three-hour session brought together faculty members and administrative staff from various colleges and facilities across the University, marking a significant milestone three years after the Department’s establishment. The workshop underscored the Department’s commitment to strengthening digital competencies within the University community. The Department extends sincere appreciation to all faculty and staff who participated and contributed to the success of this landmark capacity-building initiative.

Day Three of the AI Masters Curriculum Development Workshop
Today marks the final day of our intensive AI curriculum development workshop with the UNDP and Intel team. Faculty members and curriculum designers from the DCIS Department continued collaborative sessions focused on aligning course structures, defining learning outcomes, and integrating practical AI competencies relevant to Liberia’s digital future. The day will conclude with a unified roadmap for launching the Master’s in Artificial Intelligence program at the University of Liberia.

Day Two of the AI Curriculum Development Workshop

Day Two of our AI workshop continued with great momentum as DCIS faculty, staff, and our partners from UNDP and INTEL worked collaboratively on refining the structure and learning outcomes for the upcoming Master’s Program in Artificial Intelligence.

Today’s sessions focused on deeper curriculum alignment, practical AI applications for Liberia’s development, and strengthening the academic framework needed to deliver a world-class graduate program.

We appreciate the commitment and expertise demonstrated by all participants as we move closer to launching this historic AI program at the University of Liberia.
