The fight against period poverty is everybody’s business.
On Friday, the 27th of May, we successfully held our menstrual hygiene program with facilitators from Community Health Care Initiative INC.
The discussion was centered around Reproductive Tract Infection (RTIs), Toxic Shock Syndrome, and Female Morbidity (diseases or infection), privacy support, disposal of menstrual waste as well as cleanliness practices.
Our boys also gained knowledge about the menstrual process by clearing up confusing information and learning about various products selected by women across the globe.
It’s important for boys to stay engaged in this dialogue because it helps them continue to be more compassionate brothers, sons, boyfriends, and fathers.
Join us in supporting the petition to the President, the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, the Liberia Revenue Authority, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Finance to Remove all taxes and import duties on Sanitary Pads, Teach CSE in Schools, and Allocate Budget to SRHR.

Our History class takes students to the National Museum.
Our students paid a one-day visit to the National Museum of Liberia, where they explored their cultural heritage and had a lot of fun while doing so.
We are grooming a generation of students who will have all the tools they need to transform their own lives and our society as a whole.
We count on all of you to empower us to create access to this type of education for all of our young people.

Over the weekend, our students had the opportunity to tour and purchase books from the World’s largest Ship Library MV LOGOS Hope at the Freeport of Monrovia. Opportunities as such are critical to how students build connections from the classroom to the real world - a core component of our active learning pedagogy. We believe that all students deserve this type of education.
Support our vision to reach more students from all backgrounds.
