As Building Services Technology students, we had the incredible opportunity to explore the inner workings of a world-class hospitality environment. Our visit to Weligama Marriott Hotel gave us firsthand exposure to key systems that keep the hotel running efficiently and comfortably.

We learned how building services like HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and fire systems are used and maintained in a luxury hotel setting, gaining real-world insight into system integration and sustainability.

A heartfelt thank you to the hotel management and staff for warmly welcoming us, guiding us through the systems, and sharing real industry insights.

An insightful experience exploring one of Sri Lanka’s key wastewater management projects. We learned about the treatment process, sustainable disposal methods, and the importance of environmental protection in urban development.
