UNITY -Matale.

Our Unity Social Development Organization, together with the Hill Country Social Justice Collective and Arputha Karangal Foundation, visited the remote and severely affected area of Matale Hunnasgiriya Sengasadu Estate to provide dry-ration support to 63 impacted families.

This relief effort was made possible through the generous contributions facilitated by Mrs. Vasuki, with support from Mr. S. Gajendran from jaffna Kondavil, Mrs. Srikumar Vanathi from the United States, and Ms. Praba of the 3WD Garage team. With the dedicated involvement of our Unity members, we were able to successfully complete this humanitarian activity.

The second Deepavali celebration organized by Unity Social Development Organization was held successfully and vibrantly. Here are some photos from the event.
The program featured various activities including games for children and adults, a special session for women on how to progress in their careers, and an initiative encouraging savings among children. We also took the opportunity to honor individuals who have brought pride to our community. Most importantly, the event was made even more meaningful with the participation of religious leaders from all four faiths, symbolizing unity and harmony. Overall, the celebration was a remarkable success.
