We are one of Sri Lanka’s leading inbound tourism organisations, with an impressive portfolio of European, UK, and North American clients. With 10 years in the industry, we have made significant strides in the tourism sector.

Team & work style

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with others and thrives in a collaborative environment. Being a supportive team player is very important to us; someone who is friendly, cooperative, and happy to work closely with colleagues to get things done.

At times, the role may also require stepping out into the field when needed, so flexibility and a willingness to adapt will be highly valued.

You should have a sound command of working with internal systems, and display skills in managing vendors and suppliers.

Finally, you must have a passion for travel and knowledge of various destinations.

We call it the “Meda Midula” in the Sinhala tongue. These are the regal Kandyan homes, the stately walauwas of the hill country. The Meda Midula, translating to “open courtyard” is more than a design element. It is the quiet heart of the house, a space that mirrors the nuances of culture, climate and lifestyle of the proud Kandyan kingdom era.

Stand for a moment in its centre, subsumed by the cool, gentle breeze that flows through the trees and mountains, laid bare to the evening that gets darkened, still beneath a scattering of stars… The house seems to breathe with the landscape around it. In the good old days, there used to be families that gathered here, children playing under the open sky and the elders sat sharing stories, creating a sense of private oasis just for them.

When the evening draws near, the lamps of the temple grounds flicker to life. This is one of the ways to signal that the day is gently winding down.

In the distance, there sit two novice monks in their saffron robes bright against the cool blue hues emanating from the mountains. They speak softly to one another, with faint chuckling and hearty emotions, perhaps rewinding the simple rhythms of their daily temple life. But the star of the picture seems to be a village dog resting nearby on the warm stone, at ease, as if he, too, belongs to this sacred pause in time.

This is Sri Lanka beyond the guidebooks.

Happy Thai Pongal To All Celebrating!

Sometimes, the smallest acts of giving carry the greatest hope. In the wake of the recent cyclone and floods, we were reminded that rebuilding begins with compassion and collective action.

Authenticities, together with Erdmute & Bruno of Destination Rally and Will Goldberg of IWillGoTravel, donated school bags, water bottles, and stationery items to 150 schoolchildren from Makulella Vidyalaya, Norwood Primary School, Tamil Maha Vidyalaya, Darmaraja Maha Vidyalaya & New Valley Tamil Maha Vidyalaya in Sri Lanka’s hill country, supplies that will support them for one fulll school year. Authenticities’ Directors, Wilhelm and Amila, along with Nuwan, personally visited the schools to hand over the donations.

Kindness, once given, never truly leaves. Our heartfelt thanks to all who made this act of hope possible.
