*MATCH WON: DRCK vs VCK*

The match between Dharmaraja College and Vidyartha College in the Under-17 Division I Schools Cricket Tournament 2026 concluded with a convincing victory for the _Rajans_ at the Vidyartha College Grounds, Kandy. Dharmaraja College posted 240 runs all out in 48.5 overs, while Vidyartha College were bowled out for just 63 runs in 27.5 overs, handing the Rajans a commanding *177-run victory*.

The Taekwondo Team of Dharmaraja College, comprising Agra Dissanayake, Manuja Vithanage and Menuka Thisan, showcased outstanding performances at the Central Provincial School Games, securing *Championship Titles* in their respective weight categories in the Under-20 Boys’ Taekwondo Tournament, bringing great honour to the college.

Congratulations to Yomidu Gunaratne of Dharmaraja College who has been selected to the team which represents Sri Lanka at the *International Mathematics Olympiad Competition 2026*.

The Karate Team of Dharmaraja College showcased outstanding performances to secure the *2nd Runners-Up* position at the Provincial Games Karate Championship held at the Digana Indoor Sports Complex.

The team, comprising Charith Gunarathne, Kalhara Jayasundara, Dihein Galkotuwa, Vinada Viyanage, Chamath Gunarathne and Janith Rathnayake, delivered an impressive performance, winning 1 Gold Medal, 4 Silver Medals, and 3 Bronze Medals.

Congratulations to *Mast. Danuka Wickramarathne* on achieving the rank of CSM of the 02nd Battalion of National Cadet Corps Sri Lanka. Formerly the Eastern Cadet Band Sergeant (2025), he led the band to secure 1st Runners-Up at the All Island Eastern Band Challenge Trophy during his tenure as Sergeant. We wish him continued success in his cadet journey and future achievements.
