- Patch work and embroidery cloth products using cotton fabrics are created by Chandrani from Poojapiya in Kandy District. The Kandyan heritage is depicted in most her creations such as sarees, wall hangings, tote bags, cushion covers, bed sheets and table cloths. Cloth and reed sun hats
- Our sun hats are created by Padmi from Anuradhapura, where she combines cloth cut off pieces with water reed to create the beautiful sun hats

...Almost all these “Agasthya” creative crew members have been awarded “Presidents Award” for their creations. The production process happens at the comfort of their homes. So while they look after their children and while they attend to their homes, they could get involved in the production, thus ensuring a sustainable livelihood for their entire family…
