I'm thrilled to have been awarded the Best Speaker during our Toastmasters Meeting No. 162 on October 23, 2024! It was a privilege to share my speech with such an amazing group of supportive and talented individuals.

Initially, I questioned whether joining Toastmasters was the right decision for me. As an introvert, I never imagined in my wildest of my dreams that I would be speaking in front of an audience. I never saw myself as a speaker and doubted whether I needed to develop public speaking skills.

However, after joining Sri Lankan Toastmasters Club Qatar, I realized that Toastmasters is much more than just public speaking. It’s a platform that helps you explore and grow in various areas, from communication and leadership to mastering presentations, connecting with amazing professionals, personal growth and many more. It has allowed me to dive deep within myself and uncover the speaker I never knew existed.

I am truly grateful for this experience and for being part of such a supportive and enriching community that has helped me grow in ways I never thought possible.
