What started with a teenager uploading videos from his bedroom has grown into one of the largest media brands on the planet.

Over the years, MrBeast transformed YouTube content through bigger challenges, larger productions, record-breaking giveaways, and a deep understanding of what audiences want to watch. In the process, he built a global fanbase that stretches across continents, languages, and generations.

To put the milestone into perspective, 500 million subscribers is larger than the population of most countries in the world.

Yevan David Turns Heads in Monaco with Fearless Formula 3 Drive

Sri Lankan racing driver Yevan David delivered one of his most impressive performances of the season at the Formula 3 Feature Race in Monaco, producing a series of daring overtakes on one of the most unforgiving circuits in world motorsport.

While Italy’s Brando Badoer secured victory with a commanding lights to flag drive, much of the attention from fans and commentators shifted towards David’s aggressive charge through the field.

Monaco is widely regarded as one of the most difficult tracks in the world for overtaking. The narrow streets leave little room for mistakes, making wheel to wheel battles a rarity. Yet Yevan David refused to settle.

One of the defining moments of the race came when the Sri Lankan driver executed a remarkable move around the outside of Christian Ho at the famous Grand Hotel Hairpin, a corner where overtakes are almost unheard of. The move instantly became one of the standout highlights of the weekend.

The race itself began with early drama as drivers fought for position into Sainte Dévote on the opening lap. An early Safety Car period followed after Tuukka Taponen’s race ended in the barriers.

At the front, Badoer controlled proceedings to claim victory ahead of Théophile Naël and Freddie Slater, while championship leader Luke Browning finished fourth.

Further back, however, Yevan David continued to entertain. Throughout the race, the Sri Lankan youngster showed confidence, determination, and a willingness to attack whenever an opportunity appeared.

Although Monaco did not end with a podium finish for David, his performance offered another glimpse of why he is considered one of Sri Lanka’s brightest prospects in international motorsport.

On a circuit where drivers are often remembered for their courage as much as their results, Yevan David made sure the world was watching.
