This CCTV footage is from Godagama, Godagamagewatta, on November 1, 2024.
This site needed a more comprehensive CCTV coverage and alarm system. We installed both CCTV cameras and an alarm panel for this site in 2018, and it is still working properly. The owner received an SMS alert with the exact location of the motion detection and also got a call from the alarm system. Within 2 minutes, the owner informed the police, and two thieves were spotted leaving the premises. Nothing was stolen, and everything is safe.
