VIP (Valued Imam Project) – Batch #8 recently participated in an insightful session on the Basics of Buddhism and the Role of Religious Leaders, conducted by Ven. Thalawature Panjathissa Thero, the Chief Monk of Hathnagoda Rajamahaviharaya.
The session offered a meaningful introduction to Buddhist teachings, practices, and values, fostering deeper interfaith understanding and mutual respect. Ven. Panjathissa Thero emphasized the universal values of compassion, mindfulness, and harmony, encouraging collaboration among religious leaders to promote peace, coexistence, and shared human dignity in society.
