Meeting 404 of IIT TMC took place last Friday night. Though the weather outside was rainy and gloomy ๐ง๏ธ, our spirits were bright and cheerful โ๏ธ, even more so with the presence of Area Director of Area B4 TM Pubudinee Pathinayake.
TMOD TM Asiri started the meeting with storytime; last-minute trip cancellations ๐ซ allowed her to attend the meeting that day, highlighting that although plans may go awry, we can always adapt and adjust accordingly ๐.
During the RR session by TM Methuli, we saw our members and guests being vulnerable talking about if their emotions were people, which would be the most annoying . The list includes, overthinking ๐ซช, anxiety ๐ฐ, procrastination ๐ซฃ, crashing out ๐ซจ, negativity โน๏ธ, jealousy ๐, impatience ๐, apathy ๐ถ and... happy?
Next, TM Pubudinee hosted the Table Topics session with several interesting topics in hand including what message would you give your younger self ๐ง๐พ (don't tell people your full name), what if kindness was the currency for a day ๐ฒ, is teamwork more important than individual talent ๐ฅ (bringing group coursework PTSD), being offered to know your entire future ๐ฎ (no thanks), what skill to instantly master ๐(productivity), and a moment a setback turned to be a blessing ๐
TM Jason then took up the role of quiz master and entertained us with three rounds of music-themed challenges ๐ถ. Although the battle between the Red suit โฅ๏ธโฆ๏ธ and Black suit โ ๏ธโฃ๏ธ was one for the books, ultimately Red emerged victorious ๐
Thank you to all our hardworking roleplayers and special thanks to TM Pubudinee for joining us on a cold Friday evening! Catch y'all at the next meeting โจ

Meeting 403, led by TMOD Vishara, delivered the perfect mix of deep topics and chaotic comedy ๐ญ
The Round Robin session led by TM Jason revolved around memorable and exciting parties ๐โจ Members shared their hilarious experiences, from party guests helping themselves to the birthday boy's toys ๐งธ, police officers crashing the wrong house on a drug chase ๐ and many drunken mistakes ๐ป. The session was filled with laughter ๐
The Prepared Speech sessions featured TM Vinuki, who delivered a thoughtful speech on the importance of stepping into the shoes of younger people before writing off their problems ๐ญ๐ฃ The speech highlighted how experiences and challenges can feel very different depending on one's stage of life.
TM Paramie's prepared speech "Paper Cuts" explored how a lot of small hurts (like paper cuts) โ๏ธ and microaggressions can lead up to a more significant hurt. It discussed how we might be doing it to each other unknowingly, unintentionally or just because it's convenient to us, emphasizing how we should try instead to be more empathetic โค๏ธ.
The Table Topics Session, conducted by TM Kisandu, asked some fun and thoughtful questions. Responses included destroying cultural sites as an evil villain ๐, s*x ed being essential to school curriculums ๐, why cats would be the most annoying animal if they could talk (from a cat owner's POV) ๐, switching lives with a celebrity (three of Riordan's series were spoiled in the aftermath ๐ญ), an AI-generated excuse being the worst excuse they've ever heard ๐ค, debates about time travel โณand a member being concerned about their prompt history rather than their search history ๐๐
. The session was filled with creative replies and plenty of laughs.
Meeting 403 balanced thought-provoking and enlightening topics with all-around goofiness ๐คช A big thank you to all the amazing roleplayers for their effort and energy in making the meeting a success! ๐โค๏ธ

Meeting 402, led by TMOD TM Jason, kept the energy high and the audience engaged throughout ๐คโจ
The Round Robin session by TM Vishmi encouraged members to share a surprise that happened during the week ๐
From escaping the infamous IIT squirrel ๐ฟ๏ธ and finding a supervisor ๐, to waking up early for an hour-away train ๐, encountering a snake at home ๐, and unexpected visits from friends ๐
, the session was filled with amusing and relatable stories.
The Prepared Speech session by TM Jason explored how fiction can reflect real life ๐โจ
Drawing examples from books and popular stories, he highlighted the importance of communication, friendship, and looking beyond ourselves. The speech reminded us that personal growth isn't just about self-improvement, it's also about staying connected with the people around us ๐
The Table Topics session, conducted by TM Paramie, brought a unique twist with a card-based game ๐ด๐ง
Speakers explored fascinating ideas, from becoming the President of the United States ๐บ๐ธ and leaving behind a meaningful legacy โจ, to reflecting on leadership, standing up against unfair decisions ๐ช, accepting life's trade-offs, and choosing courage over conformity ๐ฆ The session was filled with personal stories, humor, and valuable life lessons.
A big thank you to all the speakers, role players, and participants who made Meeting 402 engaging, insightful, and memorable ๐๐

IIT TMC held their 401st meeting last Saturday with the TMOD TM Asiri opening the meeting with a discussion on the tips and tricks of being consistent.
During the Round Robin session by TM Vinuki, we heard about the weird facts that changed our life such as how to stop a sneeze๐คง, how to (correctly) melt chocolate ๐ซ, how the Ant man and Godzilla cannot scientifically exist outside of comic books (ruining the fantasy for us all ๐ฅฒ), the power of a strong mindset ๐ช๐ฝ (plus an unsolicited, unadvisable suggestion to get an expensive ๐ฐ gym membership) and more entertaining tidbits.
TM Seniru's prepared speech was about how he and his crew got list due to some unwise choices but found themselves once again by staying calm, retracing steps, and following arrows, proving that stressful situations all lead to a great story.
TM Asiri continued to host the Table Topics session as well where members shared the traits they wished they had ๐๐พ, personal mantras ๐, lessons learned in small doses ๐ง, where they do NOT see themselves in five years โ, the value of finding flaws in diamonds ๐, and taking action today in order to see growth tomorrow ๐ณ.
Thank you to all our hardworking role-players and catch yโall at the next meeting! โจ
