MMGS Architects offers consortium services required to complete a building project. MMGS architects was established by Chartered Architect, M. M. G.

Samuel in February 1998. The company comprises of a creative and energetic team of young Architects and Consultants capable of handling complex design problems. The firm strives to achieve continued excellence by producing unique designs through creativity which reflects the individuality of both client and practice and provides them with more dramatic spaces, even within limited parameters such as land extent, cost etc...

MANDAWALA HOUSE, Gampaha

The Mandawala House is an existing residence, once serenely tucked away at the edge of a neglected pineapple plantation. The plantation has been transformed into a leisure garden, with meandering pathways weaving through a Mahogany forest, while the main house was renovated with cozy interiors that enhance the tranquil setting. The interiors highlight the home’s antiques, complemented by earthy tones that echo the landscape, with subtle cheerful accents adding warmth. Verandas lining the external walls invite residents to experience the sweeping views beyond.

Beverly Street - Rajagiriya

Situated in the heart of Sri Jayawardenapura, Beverly Street stands as a bold, rubble-walled structure that commands attention through its mysterious, solid form and strategically glazed corner.
The objective was to let the customer have the full shopping experience, while fulfilling the marketing requirements of the client. The interior of the building has a rugged finish, with rubble and cement finished walls, AC and electricity trunking, detailing & timber decks providing a perfect backdrop for the colorful clothes and mannequins exhibited in the building.
More than just a retail outlet, Beverly Street embodies character and drama, offering an immersive architectural and commercial experience that sets it apart from conventional fashion stores.

We’re proud to celebrate the achievement of our talented Intern Architect, Shalindi Mendis, who graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University.

Her exceptional talent was recognized with the Gold Medal for Best Performance in the Bachelor of Architecture Degree for Design Excellence in Architecture, a well-deserved acknowledgment of her creativity, dedication, and passion for design.

Our anniversary celebration became truly meaningful as we gathered with our MMGS Alumni, Consultants, and Contractors, who have each played a part in shaping our journey.
